Sneak Peeks at AnnaBelle Stamps

Happy Friday Peeps!

Long time no blog! I have good reason for my absence – I have been sick! I am still not 100% and it is dragging into its third week, but this winter’s flu got me good and proper. But I think I am FINALLY on the mend, but no crafting has been done until yesterday.

This week at AnnaBelle Stamps the Belles are teasing you with sneak peeks of some stamps that will be released into the store very soon. Make sure you visit all the Belles blogs to check out their awesome creations.

Last week I didn’t play along, but TWO news Belles were introduced to the AnnaBelle DT. Please stop by Tobi and Marcia’s blog to welcome them – even if it is a week late! Welcome ladies. I can’t wait to see what you guys create each week.

My card this week was inspired by Cristina Kowalczyk. I loved this card of hers and pinned it immediately – that girl comes up with the MOST clever ideas sometimes. Here is my humble version of hers.

Featuring Christmas Stamps and a Giveaway!

Happy Friday Peeps!

For this week’s Friday Feature at AnnaBelle Stamps, the Belles are showcasing Christmas Stamp sets. Go here to check them all out. Today I have used the Jewelled Tree stamp set.

Now a couple of weekends ago I did a little spot of shopping at the Brisbane craft show – and among quite a few purchases, I bought some Hero Arts shadow inks. So today I went to town using the colours Bubblegum, Green Hills and Pool.

Merry Christmas

And I also used my new Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I’m not usually a glitter girl, but I do like my new pen. A lot less mess! Hopefully you can see the glitter goodness a bit better in this photo.

Giveaway! As we are focusing on Christmas stamp sets, how about a giveaway? I have an extra copy of the Gifted Swirls Stamp set (see image below). It is not the set I have used today, but it is one of the many Christmas sets available at AnnaBelle Stamps. Leave a comment on this post by Monday 9am (AEST) and I’ll randomly choose a winner. I am happy to post worldwide 🙂 Want to see how this stamp set can be used – head here and check out some projects.

Hey There – Muse

I am back with another card for the Muse Card Club.

muse_logo

I have a very CAS card for you this week.

To create the ombre background I used Copic markers and kept blending the colours together until I had a smooth gradient (see the supplies for the colours I used). I then die cut the word ‘hey’ and used the negative space. The ‘there’ is white heat embossed.

Hey There

Here are some of the guidelines if you are unfamiliar with how Muse works.

  • Use the Muse card as inspiration, explain your interpretation and link back to Muse.
  • Provide supportive comments to at least 3 of your fellow member’s submissions.
  • Vote for 3 of your fellow member’s submissions that you find inspiring, once voting opens.

For the full challenge guidelines go here.

Supplies

Stamps: Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler stamp set

Ink: Versamark watermark ink

Card: X-Press It Copic Blending Blending Card

Other Supplies: Copic Markers – BG15, B04, B32, B97, PTI Block Alphabet die collection, Cuttlebug, AnnaBelle Stamps white embossing powder, heat tool, anti static pillow

I am so glad that you stopped by today. I look forward to seeing your creations.

It’s all about Dad

Hello again. This week at AnnaBelle Stamps we have a colour challenge for you…and I certainly did find this a challenge. It was the blue that I struggled with the most.

ac165

In Australia we don’t celebrate Father’s Day until September, so I am nice and early with this one! These colours seemed very manly to me – hence my male inspired card. See those flags in the corner? They are my newly purchased chipboard pieces that I coloured with Versacolor ink (pigment ink).

Dad - orange

Dad - orange detail

Now I wasn’t sure if I was happy with the orange background, so I tried a blue one as well – but in the end I think I like the orange better.

Dad - blue

Supplies

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps Tree-MEN-dous stamp set

Ink: VersaFine – Vintage Sepia, Distress Ink – Wild Honey, Tea Dye, Tumbled Glass, Versacolor – Orange, Cyan, Distress Markers – Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade, Walnut Stain

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white cardstock

Other Supplies: Ranger ink blending tool, Finger sponge daubers, Scrapmatts Chipboard pieces – flags 02,  Foam dimensionals

Be sure to check out the rest of the Belles’ projects – their links are on my side bar.

Before I go, this past weekend I had the privilege of meeting (for the first time) my fellow DT and blogging buddy Therese. Therese and I started blogging around the same time (nearly 3 years ago now!) and she was one of my first followers. I flew up to Brisbane and we went to the Brisbane Craft Expo together. We had a lot of fun chatting and buying….but it was so lovely to finally meet her in person! Here’s a little picture my sister snapped of us from my phone. I’m on the left and Therese is on the right.

AnnaBelle Stamps Garden Silhouettes Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to AnnaBelle Stamps Friday Feature Blog Hop. If you have arrived from Kylie’s Blog, you are in the right spot.

ff010
Today, the Belles are showcasing the Garden Silhouettes Stamp set. This is such a versatile set with so many stamps in it. Today I decided to challenge myself and use a stamp from the set I had never used before. I chose a little flourishy motif and after some playing, my card and tag were born. I wanted a sentiment that matched the flourish, so I used a portion of a stamp from the Standing Tall stamp set.

Thanks flourish

The little tiny hearts are covered in Ranger enamel accents. Love this stuff!

Flourish tag

Thanks flourish card and tag

Supplies

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps Garden Silhouettes Stamp set, AnnaBelle Stamps Love Birds Stamp set (sentiment)

Ink: Versamark watermark ink

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white cardstock, Hero Arts Folded Note cards – Azure

Other Supplies: AnnaBelle Stamps white embossing powder, heat tool, anti static powder pillow, AnnaBelle stamps hemp twine – 0.8mm twine, Martha Stewart heart punch, Ranger Enamel Accents – white,  Tombow Mono Multi glue

Now if you would like a chance to win yourself a copy of the Garden Silhouettes Stamp set, leave a comment on all the DT’s blogs and then head back to the ABS blog and add your name to the inlinkz. Too easy.

Andrea also has generously discounted the Garden Silhouettes Stamp set by 20% for this weekend only. Go here to grab yourself a bargain.
