We are back from our little holiday away…we had beautiful weather and it was lovely to spend some time away with my family.<\/p>\n
Tonight I am sharing with you my take on this week’s colour combo for the Online Summer Card Camp 2011.<\/p>\n

I found this week’s colour challenge a little easier than last week. I hadn’t envisioned my card to turn out so green, but I like it – and it doesn’t have a sentiment which is hard for me to do! These colours scream summer to me…not exactly the weather we are experiencing at the moment, but it is nice to imagine that it is summer and not freezing cold winter!!<\/p>\n

I stamped the butterflies in Versafine black ink and then clear embossed quickly over the top before it dried. I have never tried this before (I usually use watermark ink then emboss with black powder) but I really like the shine that it gives! The butterflies were coloured with distress inks using my finger sponge daubers. The frame around the nestie was embossed through my cuttlebug and then I used a copic marker to create the green border.<\/p>\n
