Today is Birthday Challenge #2 at AnnaBelle Stamps<\/a>. The DT gals Sue K<\/a> and Stephanie<\/a> are hosting this challenge so head on over to their blogs for the details, to see their awesome creations and to link up your creations.<\/p>\n

Their challenge is to create a project using blooms! (How fitting, especially for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere where spring is in the air – Yay!) I am also entering this into the current CASE Study #56 Challenge<\/a> where the talented Julie Lacey<\/a> is the muse. You can view her gorgeous inspiration card here<\/a>. I love her layout, her ribbon and her flowers!<\/p>\n

I do like creating little scenes so lots of ink was used in this one. I love turning a blank piece of white cardboard into something pretty! I have used lots of AnnaBelle stamps on this one. The tree is from the Tree-MEN-dous set<\/a>. The grass on the bottom of the circle is from the All Things Grow<\/a> set and the background stamp is from the Backgrounds by Design 3<\/a> set. I created the clouds by using a technique that Darlene used in her card here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The large rolled rose flower is my new MFT die (which I love) and I finally purchased a leaf die! Both of these things make me happy!<\/p>\n
