I am loving how these challenges are really making me try new things. This week we have embellished corners &#8211; not something I do often (other than rounding corners!) so it was fun coming up with something that suited me and my style of card making. I used the <a href=\"http:\/\/annabellestamps.com\/bella-stamps\/stamps-by-name\/holly-branch?cPath=1_133\">Holly Branch<\/a> stamp set and the sentiment is from the just released <a href=\"http:\/\/annabellestamps.com\/bella-stamps\/all-stamps\/ornamental-christmas?cPath=1_133\">Ornamental Christmas <\/a>set.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #eeeeee;\" title=\"Holly Branch\" src=\"http:\/\/d3r7n3pjjd8847.cloudfront.net\/files\/2011\/10\/holly_branch_6x4_colour_watermark-206x300.jpg?84cd58\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 1px solid #eeeeee; margin-bottom: 40px;\" title=\"Ornamental Christmas\" src=\"http:\/\/d3r7n3pjjd8847.cloudfront.net\/files\/2011\/10\/Ornamental-Christmas-300x300.jpg?84cd58\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"220\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2799 aligncenter\" title=\"Joy to the World\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04736.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"579\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And I made another card &#8211; but with a different wreath, a different sentiment, a different bow and squared corners instead of round! So in my eyes it is very different to the first!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2806 aligncenter\" title=\"Peace on Earth\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04772.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"587\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And to show you how I created my wreath, I have included a little tutorial.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2801 aligncenter\" title=\"Tutorial Step 1\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04747.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Lightly in pencil I traced a circle (using my circle cutter as a guide) onto some X-Press It blending card (Label 2 nestie cut out)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2802 aligncenter\" title=\"Tutorial Step 2\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04749.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0I stamped around the pencilled circle with the holly stamp.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2803 aligncenter\" title=\"Tutorial Step 3\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04750.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To fill in some of the gaps, I used the smaller holly stamp from the same set. Once the ink was dry, I rubbed out the circle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2804 aligncenter\" title=\"Tutorial Step 4\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04755.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Coloured the images in with Copics and used the Natural Gray colour to go around the outside edge of each leaf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2805 aligncenter\" title=\"Tutorial Step 5\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/files\/2011\/10\/DSC04756.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">And added a sentiment from the just released Ornamental Christmas set (I <em>always<\/em> use VersaFine &#8211; Onyx Black for my sentiments).
