This month I had the privilege of using some Penny Black<\/a> products and created a card for the PageMaps July card sketch<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In order to follow the sketch, but avoid an overly busy card, I created a lot of subtle textures using some Penny Black stencils. Both the pattern on the butterfly and the chevrons in the background were created by running the stencil through my Cuttlebug with a rubber embossing mat. The blue dots were created with a stencil and coloured embossing paste.<\/p>\n
