Today I have a <a href=\"http:\/\/janesdoodles.blogspot.com\">Jane&#8217;s Doodles<\/a> card to share with you that went up on the <a href=\"http:\/\/janesdoodles.blogspot.com.au\/2015\/12\/hello.html\">Jane&#8217;s Doodles<\/a> blog last week. I felt like getting all inky and artsy and so after playing around with some distress inks, this card happened. I&#8217;m not usually a fan of purple, but it just felt like the right flower colour for the background.<\/p>\n<p>The background was water coloured with Distress inks &#8211; Mustard seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire. I then took a Penny Black stencil and dabbed up some of the colour with a baby wipe to create the subtle spots.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"957\" height=\"1124\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-30909\" style=\"width: 478.5px; height: auto;\" src=\"http:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_5065.jpg\" alt=\"Jane's Doodles Hello | Marion Vagg\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_5065.jpg 957w, https:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_5065-255x300.jpg 255w, https:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_5065-768x902.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mademarion.vagg.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/IMG_5065-872x1024.jpg 872w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 957px) 100vw, 957px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The flower, from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.janesdoodles.com\/anemone\/\">Anemone<\/a> stamp set, was coloured with Copic markers and I clustered some black seed beads in the centre and adhered them with Glossy Accents. My husband and I have been doing heaps of gardening, getting ready for all of my family to start arriving next week. The garden is looking good but I managed to stub my little toe on a retaining wall, and have a managed to crack the bone!
