Hello! I think Adele’s song was playing on repeat the whole time I made this card, but it’s a good song, and I quite like how the card turned out as well!<\/p>\n

I used the Penny Black<\/a> slapstick\/cling stamp called Birthday Tweetings<\/a> (well part of the stamp) as well as the Chat Bubbles<\/a> Creative die set.<\/p>\n

I stamped and then coloured the phone with Copic markers. I fussy cut the phone, as I didn’t need to bird this time round, although it is a very cute and whimsical image.<\/p>\n

The background looked a little plain to me, so I decided to use the Chat Bubble Creative die set<\/a> and emboss the speech bubbles into the background using an embossing mat in my die cutting machine. I find that this adds more interest to the card, without taking away from the focal image.<\/p>\n

I adhered the phone and sentiment with some foam tape and then mounted that onto the card base with more foam. I hand drew the phone cord.<\/p>\n
