Hi friends, I hope that you are all surviving these crazy times! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m back sharing a super fun birthday card using new products from the Penny Black<\/a> release ‘Secret Garden’<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today’s card features no stamping what-so-ever. It was all made with die cuts and some ink blending. I used the awesome new Balloons creative die set<\/a> – two large sized balloons come in this set along with ties and a bow (which I didn’t end up using). I sponged on some Distress Oxide ink onto the balloons before adhering and trimming them down to the card panel size. I love that these dies even come with the balloon highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested, I used two colours on each balloon – Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade and Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers – I think also added some Salty Ocean to this one as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sentiment is another ‘must have’ die set that I think I will be reaching for quite often. It is called Celebrate & Enjoy<\/a> and they are good sized dies with a beautiful scripty font. I also inked this up with Distress Oxide ink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cloud dies are not from this release, but are ones I use a lot and are called Silver Linings<\/a>. I popped up the middle balloon to add some dimension, and the clouds are also two die cuts on top of each other to add some subtle dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
