Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles<\/a> hop where the Design Team and special guests are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp sets – Surf’s Up<\/a> and Fresh Cut Flowers<\/a>. I am once again VERY excited about these new additions as they are so cute…especially the Surf’s Up! So here they are in all their glory…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fresh Cut Flowers<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this first card I masked off the sand area with some post-it notes and then stamped the images from Surf’s Up<\/a>, so that they are buried in the sand. I then used a Copic multi-liner to draw over the sand edge before colouring in the whole image with Copic markers. I simply love this alligator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To create the impression of sand, I used 3 different copic marker colours and dotted them on. To blur the bottom and side edges a bit, I went over it with a colourless marker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My next card uses one of the gorgeous floral arrangements from the Fresh Cut Flowers<\/a> set. I stamped it in the corner, then used a ruler and Copic multi-liner to draw a border around the image. I love colouring florals and making them look really bright and vibrant. The sentiment is from an older set called Anemone<\/a>. To add some tone-on-tone detail to the base card, I sponged on some ink using this<\/a> stencil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
