Hello…remember me? I know its been a long time. There have been several reasons for my absence, but mostly I just needed a break from card making. Ever been there?<\/p>\n

Anyway, I am currently taking the Online card class – Watercolor for Cardmakers<\/a> and I made a card!<\/p>\n

For this card I created a watercoloured background using distress markers. Firstly I heat embossed the background stamp in white embossing powder and then roughly coloured the image in with Distress Markers. I then spritzed the panel with water and watched the colours blend.<\/p>\n

Once dry I cut out the letters and inlaid them back in to create a flush image.<\/p>\n

Stamps:<\/span> Hero Arts and Basic Grey ‘Flower dot pattern’ stamp<\/p>\n

Card:<\/span> Canson watercolour paper, AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white cardstock, Hero Arts Azure layering papers<\/p>\n

Ink:<\/span> Distress Markers – Salty Ocean, Broken China, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Peeled Paint<\/p>\n

Other Supplies:<\/span> My Favorite Things High Rise lowercase alphabet letter dies, Cuttlebug, AnnaBelle Stamps white embossing powder, Heat tool, Anti-Static pillow, Water spray bottle.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n
