Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in to share a card of mine that is up on the Jane’s Doodles blog. You can find the original post here. I just had to use the newly released Surf’s Up! again – but this time I used that cheeky mouse. SO much fun. I used 3 different Distress Oxide inks on the background (Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch) with lots of sponging, spraying water and stencilling, which I repeated several times.
I coloured in the mouse with Copics and did some fussy cutting. Cute don’t ya think?
I’m currently on school holidays and we are in a two week lockdown, so I’ll have plenty of time to get crafty!
Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles hop where the Design Team and special guests are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp sets – Surf’s Up and Fresh Cut Flowers. I am once again VERY excited about these new additions as they are so cute…especially the Surf’s Up! So here they are in all their glory…
For this first card I masked off the sand area with some post-it notes and then stamped the images from Surf’s Up, so that they are buried in the sand. I then used a Copic multi-liner to draw over the sand edge before colouring in the whole image with Copic markers. I simply love this alligator.
To create the impression of sand, I used 3 different copic marker colours and dotted them on. To blur the bottom and side edges a bit, I went over it with a colourless marker.
My next card uses one of the gorgeous floral arrangements from the Fresh Cut Flowers set. I stamped it in the corner, then used a ruler and Copic multi-liner to draw a border around the image. I love colouring florals and making them look really bright and vibrant. The sentiment is from an older set called Anemone. To add some tone-on-tone detail to the base card, I sponged on some ink using this stencil.

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team and special guests are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp set – Sky’s the Limit. I am VERY excited about this stamp set. It is so darn stinkin’ cute and it might be a new fav! You should have arrived here from Bobbi’s blog.
My card today was really fun and relaxing to colour. I stamped and coloured the images with Copics and then fussy cut around them.

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team and friends are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp set – Brew-Tea-Ful. You should have arrived from Milka’s blog.
Today my card features not one, but three of the gorgeous cups from the set, which I coloured with Copics. The hardest thing was choosing what colours to use! I then fussy cut them out and added some white gel pen detail to the dots on the design. I sponged one some different coloured ink onto the background of each square panel before adhering the cups with foam squares.

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team (and three uber talented guests – Daniel Diaz, Wanda Guess and Laura Bassen) are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp sets – Old is Gold, Hope and Road Trip. You should have arrived from Kaja’s blog. I have three cards to share with you today. First up uses the Hope stamp set. Such a pretty floral image. There are additional images in the set, but I just used the main floral cluster in this one.
A very simple card – coloured with Copics and mounted onto a white card base.
Next up, this card again uses the Hope stamp set, but I did some masking and used the Old is Gold stamp set as well. Coloured with Copics and mounted onto a card base. To add some additional detail, I sponged in some sun rays with a subtle soft sand ink colour.
Last, but not least, is this cute stamp set called Road Trip. These critters are just way too adorable and the added extras on the roof can be stacked very whimsically. Again all coloured with Copics.

Hey hey friends. I’m back with not only a Jane’s Doodles card, but I also made a video of the assembly process! I haven’t made a card video in over 8 years.
First up the card though. I stamped and coloured the images from the Summer Icons set and then coloured them with Copics. You may have seen I posted two short videos onto my IG account colouring the crab and the palm tree (@mademarionstudio).
I created the windows openings using a the Window Quad Square die from Sunny Studio stamps.
Here is a video of how I assembled the card.
I love how this card turned out. Summer is certainly on its way out here in Australia and autumn is pushing its way in. I miss summer already!
