Sending You Smiles – Jane’s Doodles

Jane's Doodle Banner

Today I have a fun card up on the Jane’s Doodle blog, using her newest stamp set called Winter Fun – which happens to be on sale right now! And it certainly was a lot of fun to colour in these cute reindeer.

I stamped and then coloured these three with Copic Markers. To add some finishing touches I put some clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen onto their scarves and coated their noses with Glossy Accents. The sentiment is from the Monster Squad stamp set.

Well it’s less than 2 weeks now until we move. I’ve boxed up my craft room, so it will be a few weeks before I can craft again. Thankfully I managed to get all my January projects done well in advance. I’m itching to make something, but more packing and cleaning have to come first!

Knowing You – Penny Black

simplicity sister

Today I have a monochromatic card to share with you using Penny Black products. I’ve incorporated stencilling, die cutting and stamping into this one.

I stencilled on some teal ink over the Oscillations stencil, to create the chevron-like pattern. The leaves were die cut from a mixture of white card stock and vellum using the Leaves Creative die set. Finally the sentiment is a favourite of mine and is from the Sentiment Collection stamp set. This set has some beautiful sentiments in it.

To finish off the card I added some clear gems.

You’re Special To Me – Jane’s Doodles

Jane's Doodle Banner

I have a Jane’s Doodles card to share with you today which is full of colour. To see the post over on the JD Blog go here. I love flowers and it’s a reminder that spring is just around the corner! The trees are starting to bud and I can feel it in the air some days (though not tonight as it is quite chilly again).

I used the Doodle Flowers and Doodle Flowers II stamp sets and the sentiment is from the Daisies stamp set. I created my own polka dot background using the dots from the Doodle Flowers set. All coloured very simply with Copic markers.

For You – Penny Black

simplicity sister

I’m back with another Penny Black card. No stamps used on this one, only dies. I used the Party For You sentiment die and the Love is Growing die. To adhere all the dies to the card panel, I first applied a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to the back of my card stock. I then ran the dies through my die cut, essentially creating my own die cut stickers. It saved me a lot of hassle as I didn’t have to apply an liquid adhesives which can get messy.

Hello – Jane Doodles

Jane's Doodle Banner

I’ve really had a lot of fun playing with Jane’s latest stamp set called Daisies. It is such a versatile set and the images are really easy to colour. Copic Markers are my favourite way to add colour to an image, and that’s what I have used again here. I added a really subtle blue around the daisies for some added interest. You can find my card here on the Jane’s Doodle blog.
