Jane’s Doodles New Release Hop and a Giveaway

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles hop where the Design Team and several Guest Designers are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp sets called Wild Winter, Hygge Time and Snowflakes.

You should have arrived from Lien’s blog, who is a new DT member joining the JD family. Welcome Lien.

Let’s take a look at Jane’s fabulous new sets.

Wild Winter

Hygge Time

Snowflakes

First up is this cute little scene made using the Wild Winter set. I coloured the images with Copics and then fussy cut them out. I like to frame my scenes with a die-cut, and this semi circle window from MFT is perfect.

My next card uses the Snowflakes stamp set. I created the background panel by heat embossing various snowflakes from the set in clear embossing powder. I then sponged on some Cracked Pistachio Distress ink (not sure why I chose green). I stamped and coloured the images with Copics again and added a Penny Black speech bubble for the sentiment. Cute huh?

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles hop where the Design Team and several Guest Designers are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp set called Warm Hugs. Such an awesome autumn set.

I had fun creating a little autumnal scene using the bear, trees and the apples! It was fun colouring these images, which are coloured using Copic Markers.

I used a stencil and some light coloured ink on the base card to add some subtle interest. I used this stencil from Penny Black.

Enjoy the ride – Jane’s Doodles

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is jdbanner-1-1.jpg

Happy Friday! I have a couple of Jane’s Doodles card to share with you. I’ve been pretty flat out with creating online lessons for my class, which doesn’t leave me much time or head space for crafting. We have now been in lockdown for 6 weeks!!

First up is my latest card using the Road Trip stamp set. All coloured with Copics. The die is a Lawn Fawn Say Cheese die.

Next up is this pretty little floral number made using the Fresh Cut FlowersBirthday Wishes and Whales stamps sets. This set has flowers in vases, and I just used the top portion of the stamp and repeatedly stamped it around the card. Coloured with Copics.

And last is this cute little underwater scene. I love making cute scenes with Jane’s sets.

Thanks for stopping by,

Feel free to email me with any questions or head over to my instagram feed @mademarionstudio and ask there.

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles hop where the Design Team and special guests are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp set called What the Fig!

For my card, I stamped the images from the What the Fig! stamp set and coloured them with Copics. I decided not to use the sentiments from the new set, because I made this card for my Mum who is a HUGE fan of fig jam. When they are in season, my Mum would always make some jam.

I had to Google what colour figs were, and after my little research, I realised they can come in a variety of colours.

What are the different types of figs? - RatinKhosh Co.

With the colours I have used on my card, I think I have made a new variety of fig, but it still resembles a fig don’t ya think?

Happy weekend! I have a fun Jane’s Doodles card to share with you today using the Free as a Bird stamp set. I love to colour these birds really bright – it makes me happy. All coloured with Copics. I also used this die from Sunny Studios stamps. Clean and simple just the way I like it.

I added some white gel pen detail to each bird for some interest. This card makes me smile.

Dude! – Jane’s Doodles

Happy Tuesday! I’m popping in to share a card of mine that is up on the Jane’s Doodles blog. You can find the original post here.
I just had to use the newly released Surf’s Up! again – but this time I used that cheeky mouse. SO much fun. I used 3 different Distress Oxide inks on the background (Salty Ocean, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch) with lots of sponging, spraying water and stencilling, which I repeated several times.

I coloured in the mouse with Copics and did some fussy cutting. Cute don’t ya think?

I’m currently on school holidays and we are in a two week lockdown, so I’ll have plenty of time to get crafty!

Thanks for stopping by,

Marion
