Jane’s Doodles New Release Blog Hop and a Giveaway

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team and friends are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp set – Brew-Tea-Ful. You should have arrived from Milka’s blog.

Today my card features not one, but three of the gorgeous cups from the set, which I coloured with Copics. The hardest thing was choosing what colours to use! I then fussy cut them out and added some white gel pen detail to the dots on the design. I sponged one some different coloured ink onto the background of each square panel before adhering the cups with foam squares.

The stitched frame die I used is the Window Quad Square Die from Sunny Studio Stamps.

Jane’s Doodles New Release Blog Hop and a Giveaway

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team (and three uber talented guests – Daniel Diaz, Wanda Guess and Laura Bassen) are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp sets – Old is Gold, Hope and Road Trip.
You should have arrived from Kaja’s blog.
I have three cards to share with you today. First up uses the Hope stamp set. Such a pretty floral image. There are additional images in the set, but I just used the main floral cluster in this one.

A very simple card – coloured with Copics and mounted onto a white card base.

Next up, this card again uses the Hope stamp set, but I did some masking and used the Old is Gold stamp set as well. Coloured with Copics and mounted onto a card base. To add some additional detail, I sponged in some sun rays with a subtle soft sand ink colour.

Last, but not least, is this cute stamp set called Road Trip. These critters are just way too adorable and the added extras on the roof can be stacked very whimsically. Again all coloured with Copics.

Hello Sunshine – Jane’s Doodles

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is jdbanner-1-1.jpg

Happy Friday! I’m popping in quickly to share a Jane’s Doodles card of mine that was up on the JD blog recently. You can find the original post here.

I used the Spring Icons set to create this card. I stamped the images, coloured them with Copics and then fussy cut them out. I created some background scenes in each of the windows with some post-it notes for masking, a cloud stencil and some Distress Oxide inks before adhering all the elements on top, some with 3D mounting foam, and some straight onto the card.

I then adhered the front panel to a purple notecard.

I love creating these multiple mini-scene cards at the moment. I’m on a roll and have another one coming up next week!

Until then,

Marion

Happy Birthday – Jane’s Doodles (and LOTS of others cards too)

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is jdbanner-1-1.jpg

Hey friends…it’s been a while I know! My life has been crazy busy with the start of a new school year and all the prep and paperwork which comes along with that.

I have been crafting, but not really posting, but I am excited to share a Jane’s Doodles card or two with you today.

First up is this card which went live on the Jane’s Doodles blog yesterday. You can find the original post here.

The flamingos and foliage are from the Tropical Fun set and the flowers are from the Weird set. I reached for the All Occasions set for the sentiment.

All images were coloured with Copics and fussy cut. The background hearts is stencil from MFT. I haven’t used a heart die in ages either.

Now as I have been super busy, I haven’t been blogging some of my other recent JD cards. The usually appear on Instagram though, so if you aren’t following me there, I’d love it if you would @mademarionstudio

This next card (which can be found here) uses the Whales stamp set.

I love this little Easter tag (found here) which uses Suzi’s Easter and Spring stamp sets.

This card (original post found here) uses the Wildflowers stamp set.

This one (found here) uses the Hydrangea stamp set.

And last but not least is this cute little winter scene (found here). I love these little penguins which are from the Sweater Weather stamp set.

Phew! Thanks for sticking with me.

One more thing. If you don’t already know, I have been making and selling polymer clay earrings in my Etsy store. I have been exploring this new medium for a year now and finally feel confident enough to sell some! You can check out my Etsy store here – it’s called MadeMarionStudio. Here’s a peak of one of my latest earrings.

Thanks for sticking with me.
Until next time,

Marion

Jane’s Doodles New Release Blog Hop and a Giveaway

Hello and welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team (and Laura Bassen) are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp sets – Sweater Weather and Weird.

You should have arrived from Milka’s blog.

Here are the two new sets:

Sweater Weather

Weird

Cute huh? I have two cards to share with you today. In this first card I’ve used all the adorable penguins from the Sweater Weather stamp set. I stamped the images with Memento ink and the coloured them with Copic markers. I blended in some snow hills onto each of the background pieces using a hand cut mask and several Distress ink colours.

I added some details to the sweaters using a white gel pen and I cut up the sentiment stamp to fit my design better.

Next up is an inside/outside card using Weird. This card was so much fun to make. I die cut a circle in the card front and adhered the sloth image across the opening (coloured with Copics again). I also added some foliage, but added in some leaves and flowers to the background cloud panel as well.

The XoXoXo sentiment is from the Sweater Weather set.

Happy New Year!

Hello! I thought I would get one last card in for 2020! What a year it has been.

Today I am sharing a Jane’s Doodles card which was up on the JD blog this week. You can find the original post here.

This card is made using the Wonderful You stamp set and the sentiment is from the Monster Squad set. Stamped and coloured with Copics. The background is some blended Distress Oxide ink and then textured with some green copic markers.

Bright and colourful and just the way I like it!

Thank you for your support in this very different (and difficult) year. May your 2021 be filled with God’s blessings.

Happy New Year.

Marion
