It has been fabulous to see the huge participation in the Tag You’re It! Challenge. Keep them rolling in!

This week is a little different for me – as I got to be inspired by my own card! I’ve never done this before, but I found it quite fun!

I took my inspiration from the shape of the card, the colours I used on the card and also using the inlaid die cut technique. However this time I wanted also incorporate a new technique that I have picked up from Day 6 of the latest Online Card Class – Stretch Your Stamps 2, shown to us by none other than my fellow TYI team mate – Donna Mikasa. Thanks Donna for your continual inspiration đŸ™‚

I white heat embossed the flowers then inked heavily with Distress Inks. Using a cotton bud dipped in water, I went over the flowers to reactivate the ink before dabbing it away with a tissue – removing the colour. Genius! I love the result.

  6. I’m laughing myself silly over Darnell’s comment, so I’ll just echo her: a wonderful case of your awesome inspiration card that is, in turn, also awesome! WOW x 2 for both these tags!!
