Jane's Doodle Banner

I’m back with another card using Jane’s Doodles stamps.  You can find it here on the Jane’s Doodles blog. I used the Anemone and Love stamp sets. The anemone (I had to extend the stem with a black marker) was coloured with Copic markers and I thought it looked rather like a poppy by the time I was done with it. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine black ink and then clear heat embossed it. I made a small slit with my craft knife above and below the sentiment and put the stem of the anemone through the slits.

  1. Lovely use of the fussy cut stamp and slit under the sentiment. It looks so pretty. ☺

  2. Beautiful, great fussy cutting and clever idea to make the slits 🙂

  3. This is really beautiful Marion. It does resemble a poppy. I love that you can use it for that or a wild rose. A great card!

  4. So beautiful Marion, love love love the way you have inserted the rose into the card front!
