Today I have a birthday card to share with you that I made for my niece’s 17th birthday. I actually made this around the same time as this card that was over on the Penny Black Simplicity At its Best blog. I was having fun playing around with the Penny Black Numbers Creative dies.

This card still uses the inlay die cutting technique for the focal panel with the 17, but for all those blue glittery numbers I made my own stickers using double sided adhesive and some glitter card stock that I had in my stash.

A fun and simple way to make a card, and I didn’t use any inks or stamps!

  1. Marion, these are great cards and could easily be used for the men in my life as well as the women and girls. Love the simplicity of these cards and the colours. Yep! 🙂

  2. wonderful card Marian – I think these number cards are so fun to make for a birthday and this one is really special with all the glitter!!

  3. This really is a lovely card Marion. Would love to pin it but can’t…:(

  4. Looks like you are having a blast with those number dies Marion, and of course the glitter was a great choice!

  5. Its alwasy good to have a stash of glitter card and love the glitter numbers that you have used. We have seen a similar idea where glitter table numbers were used for wedding reception tables and DIY table plans.
