AnnaBelle Stamps Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the latest blog hop for AnnaBelle Stamps. You should have arrived from the lovely Sue Kohler’s blog.

This month the Belles are showcasing the Round for Christmas stamp set. It isn’t a new set, but it does match the newly released Cuts By Design 3 dies. Gotta love matching dies!

For my first card I went very CAS and based it on a sketch from a new sketch challenge CAS(E) this Sketch #1. I just moved the sentiment!

After white heat embossing the images, I coloured them in with Prismacolors and a blending pencil. I added some scoring top and bottom.

And while I was at it, I thought I would make another similar card…this time with lots of white space…and with my new (to me) distress inks from the Summer Collection.

Supplies

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps Round For Christmas stamp set, AnnaBelle Stamps Jewelled Christmas stamp set (sentiment on second card)

Ink: Versamark watermark ink, Distress Inks – Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry and Mowed Lawn, Versafine – Onyx Black

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps Smooth White cardstock, AnnaBelle Stamps Kraft cardstock

Other Supplies: Martha Stewart Score Board, AnnaBelle Stamps white embossing powder, heat tool, anti-static pillow, Prismacolor Pencils, Derwent Blending pencil, WRMK Corner Chomper

Now for a GIVEAWAY. In order to be in the running to win your very own ‘Round For Christmas’ Stamp set, you need to comment on all of the DT’s blog and then head back to the ABS blog and add your name to the inlinkz. You have until Sunday to enter.

Andrea also has a Deal of the Week – which is 20% off the Round for Christmas set (until next Friday).

Your next stop on the hop is Therese.

  26. The technique of white embossing them colouring really makes the images pop. I’ll have to try this. Thanks for inspiring me.

  27. Gorgeous coloring on the kraft card! I am not sure the white card works quite as well — the slightly incomplete stamping of the Distress inks, while great for a distress look, doesn’t seem quite perfect for the clean & simple style of the card.

  28. I love the embossing on kraft and the gorgeous colouring. This card is absolutely stunning. cheers Linda
