I decided to use purple – not a colour I am generally fond of, but it’s good to challenge oneself – right?

Definitely good to challenge oneself and ultimately isn’t that it’s what it is all about? Your purple (and other colours) looks wonderful. It’s actually my fave colour but I rarely use it on cards as it’s so difficult to ‘match’ there are at least 1 million different shades and I’m not exaggerating!
