Today I have a video to share with you for AnnaBelle Stamps. I am really liking one layered cards at the moment and so decided to create one using a couple of different techniques – masking and blending with Distress Inks. I also love silhouette stamping over the top of inked backgrounds. I think it makes for a dramatic card with not too much effort.

I needed a quick card for a baby shower yesterday…so I went CAS and love how it turned out. I used the HA Playful Animals set and came up with my own sentiment. This one is a mini card.

Welcome to another week at AnnaBelle Stamps. We have a fun challenge for you…Say it with Spots, Dots and Anything Round!

I decided to take a different angle for this challenge….my round things are M&M’s. I found these really cool cellophane treat bags on Ebay (after being inspired by my fellow Belle Kylie) and decided to give them a try. So much fun. I used the Shapes 1 die and the coordinating stamp set Boy’s Party to create the favour topper. The sentiment is from the Shape it Up stamp set.

I plan on making a ton of these for my son’s birthday in December to give to his classmates – I’ll just change up the sentiment – personalising it with each child’s name.

Popping in quickly with a card for a challenge. I am entering this card into the current CASology challenge blog where the cue card is Week #6 School.

I used my one and only Paper Smooches stamp set “Smarty Pants”. It is always good to have teacher thank you cards on hand. I try and thank my son’s teacher at least once a term with something special…teachers do a great job and it is so important to tell them (I know as I am one!)

The images are coloured in with Copics and the apple is covered in Glossy Accents.

Today the Belles are showing you a sneak peek of a new stamp set that will be officially released this afternoon (at 4pm AEST) and it will also be the prize for this week’s challenge – you will just have to wait until this afternoon for the full reveal.

My card is one that is inspired by this card (5th card down) by Laura Bassen that I have had pinned for ages. I added some distressing to the layers.

Hey ho there! This week’s challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps is awesome! I just love the look of colours on kraft. Hope you can find some time to join us.

The winner of this week’s challenge will win the Lil Monster’s Balloon stamp set which is the one I have used today. (And did you know he now has a co-ordinating die?) I stamped the image in VersaFine black ink and then coloured heavily onto kraft card stock. I always use a blending pencil when blending colours (mine happens to be a Derwent one).
