Say it with…colours on kraft
Hey ho there! This week’s challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps is awesome! I just love the look of colours on kraft. Hope you can find some time to join us.
The winner of this week’s challenge will win the Lil Monster’s Balloon stamp set which is the one I have used today. (And did you know he now has a co-ordinating die?) I stamped the image in VersaFine black ink and then coloured heavily onto kraft card stock. I always use a blending pencil when blending colours (mine happens to be a Derwent one).
Supplies
Ink: VersaFine – Onyx Black
Card: Kraft card stock, Bazzill linen card stock – pink
Other Supplies: Prismacolor pencils (I haven’t listed the colours I have used…as I used about 20 different colours), Derwent blending pencil, AnnaBelle Stamps 0.8mm natural hemp twine, AnnaBelle Stamps stain ribbon – Hot Pink 16mm

You rocked this tag, Marion! I love the way the balloon is off the side of the tag – just a fun detail that keeps the design “going.” And the little grass path that the monster is standing on is so well done. Great color combos too!

Just gorgeous as ever Marion. Can I ask, do you use the blender pencil on its own or do you use it with OMS. Just love the colours you have used, absolutely stunning!!!

This time I just used the blender pencil over the top of the prismas, without OMS. I find that it helps to combine the colours better. I tend to use colours in groups of 3 (eg 3 shades of pink for the balloon + white). Prisma pencils are so soft and creamy, that they blend so easily. I have used OMS in the past, but I wanted more intense colours for this project so opted not to use OMS. Hope that helps.
