Thanks Teacher

Hi,

Popping in quickly with a card for a challenge. I am entering this card into the current CASology challenge blog where the cue card is Week #6 School.

I used my one and only Paper Smooches stamp set “Smarty Pants”. It is always good to have teacher thank you cards on hand. I try and thank my son’s teacher at least once a term with something special…teachers do a great job and it is so important to tell them (I know as I am one!)

The images are coloured in with Copics and the apple is covered in Glossy Accents.

Supplies

Stamps: Paper Smooches ‘Smarty Pants’ stamp set

Ink: Memento – Tuxedo Black

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white card

Other Supplies: Paper piercer, foam dimensionals, Glossy Accents, Copic markers

Thanks for dropping by,

Marion

Hello birdie!

Popping in really quickly with a card for a couple of challenges. I am entering this card into the current CAS-uals Friday challenge CFC064 – On cloud 9 (with things you would see in the sky) and also the CASology challenge blog where the cue card is Bird.

This card has a few firsts for me – this is my first play ever with washi tape and secondly this card only took me about 15 mins to make from start to finish – which is sooooo rare for me. I had an idea and went with it.

Supplies

Stamps:  AnnaBelle Stamps Love Birds Stamp set

Ink: Versacolor – orange

Card: Regal craft card – white textured (DL card cut down)

Other Supplies: Thickers, washi tape, Prismacolor pencils (to add subtle shading to the bird), tombow adhesive

Thanks for dropping by,

Marion

Flower bird garden

So I have another card to share with you based on Day 11 (using reverse stamps) from the Stretch Your Stamps class over at Online Card Classes. Super fun! I only own 2 reverse stamps – so my choice was rather easy. I stamped the image in VersaFine Onyx Black ink and then coloured in the flowers and birds with Prismacolor pencils. Simple. To make the flowers pop more, I went around the outside of every image with a sharp black Prisma pencil.

I am entering this into the current CAS-uals Friday challenge CFC062 – Back in Black and also over at CASology where the cue card for Week #2 is Happy (ie; Happy Birthday).

Supplies

Stamps: Hero Arts Flower Bird Garden stamp (CG270), AnnaBelle Stamps Fanciful Flowers Stamp set

Ink: Versafine – Onyx Black

Card: Black card stock, AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white cardstock

Other Supplies: Fiskars stamp press, vellum, American Crafts embossing powder – black, heat tool, anti static pillow

Until next time,

Marion

Say it with…red, green and white

Happy Friday to you!

This week at AnnaBelle Stamps we are saying it with red, green and white…very festive colours aren’t they?

But alas, I don’t have a festive card for you – but rather a card that is showcasing a new stamp that is being released into the store today called ‘A Beautiful Day’. Cute isn’t she?

My card today highlights a very small portion of this cute stamp…just showing you an example of how you can be creative with your stamps.

If you would like to get inky with this cute stamp, you could be a lucky winner. A Beautiful Day is the prize for this week’s challenge, but if you drop by the AnnaBelle blog at 4pm (AEST) today, you could also be in the running to win this stamp set.

I am entering this into the current Stamp It! Cards The Hello Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

Supplies

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps ‘A Beautiful Day’ Stamp set, AnnaBelle Stamps ‘Squared Posies’ stamp set (sentiment)

Ink: VersaFine – Onyx Black

Card: Regal Craft Card – squared textured

Butterflies Three

Popping in quickly with another card for the current Hero Arts challenge which has a ‘Thinking of You’ theme. I inked up my new Hero Arts Leaf and Floral background in Versamark and clear embossed. I then used several blue Distress Inks over that…they resisted the embossed areas. I used a MFT butterfly die. Easy! Oh and the dry embossed border was done on my scoreboard.

Supplies

Stamps: Hero Arts Leaf and Floral Background (CG405), Hero Arts Classic Messages (CL414)

Ink: Versamark watermark ink, Distress markers – Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Broken China

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white pre-cut cards

Other Supplies: Blending tool, Hero Arts embossing powder, Heat tool, Basic Grey – buttons, AnnaBelle Stamps 0.8mm twine – natural, Martha Stewart scoreboard, MFT – Die-Namics butterflies, Cuttlebug, Zots glue dots

Thanks for stopping by,

You’re in my Thoughts

Due to the long (wet and wintery) weekend that we’ve had here in Australia, I’ve managed to get crafty and ink up some stamps that I haven’t had a chance to ink up. I have created this one for the current Hero Arts challenge which has a ‘Thinking of You’ theme.

Using distress markers, I coloured right onto the stamp, spritzed with pearlised water and then stamped onto watercolour paper. Such a fun technique (which I have never tried before!) This is another reason why I LOVE my distress markers! I highly recommend them.

Supplies

Stamps:Hero Arts Etched Flowers (CG430), Hero Arts Live and Laugh (CL520)

Ink: Versafine – Vintage Sepia, Distress markers – Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss

Card: Aquarello watercolour paper, Hero Arts Blush (mixed folding cards)

Other Supplies: Mini mister, Perfect pearls,  Martha Stewart Butterfly punch (3 in 1), vellum, AnnaBelle Stamps pearls – 3mm and 4mm, foam dimensionals, Gloss accents (to adhere butterflies).

Thanks for stopping by.
