You’re in my Thoughts
Due to the long (wet and wintery) weekend that we’ve had here in Australia, I’ve managed to get crafty and ink up some stamps that I haven’t had a chance to ink up. I have created this one for the current Hero Arts challenge which has a ‘Thinking of You’ theme.
Using distress markers, I coloured right onto the stamp, spritzed with pearlised water and then stamped onto watercolour paper. Such a fun technique (which I have never tried before!) This is another reason why I LOVE my distress markers! I highly recommend them.
Supplies
Ink: Versafine – Vintage Sepia, Distress markers – Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss
Card: Aquarello watercolour paper, Hero Arts Blush (mixed folding cards)
Other Supplies: Mini mister, Perfect pearls, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch (3 in 1), vellum, AnnaBelle Stamps pearls – 3mm and 4mm, foam dimensionals, Gloss accents (to adhere butterflies).
Thanks for stopping by.
Absolutely beautiful Marion! Those flowers are superb and how cute are those butterflies! I want, I want… but don’t need those markers… but I want them… is that so wrong?
Beautiful, Marion – love the way the base card stamping is glimpsed 🙂
So gorgeous, Marion! The flowers are spectacular! I’m glad to see how you used the markers–I have a few and I’m still not sure what to do with them. You’ve inspired me! 🙂
