Good evening! Today’s card features a new floral set from Penny Black’s Dreaming release called Flower Collection. The image is actually a bucket filled with flowers, but I decided to repeat stamp the flower portion for a totally different look.
The sentiment is from another new set called Beautiful Heart. The flowers are coloured with Copics and then I mounted the focal panel onto a blue note card. Simple, but eye-catching.
Hello friends. I hope your week has been a great one. I have had some crafty time playing along with some new products from Penny Black’s new Dreaming release.
Today’s card uses an adorable Penny Black critter called A Big Hug. You know how much I love these cute bears! So stinkin’ adorable. I coloured the bear and background scene with Copic markers and for something different, I white heat embossed the sentiment which is from the Huggable stamp set.
The little flower is from a stamp set called Reserved Space. It had the perfect sized flower for this scene. The clouds are a creative die called Silver Linings.
Hello friends. Today I have many Jane’s Doodles cards that I am sharing with you. They have been over on the Jane’s Doodles blog, but I have neglected to share them here – so strap yourself in, as there are a few cards.
The first card is my latest card that went up on the Jane’s Doodles blog today. The link to that post is here. This card was very much inspired by this card from Michelle from The Card Grotto. I love Michelle’s clean and simple style, and this card caught my eye a while ago. Thanks for all your inspiration Michelle! I’m a big fan!
I white heat embossed the butterflies from the Doodle Butterflies stamp set and some hearts from the Unicorn set before ink blending over the top. The Sending Hugs portion of the sentiment is from the All Occasions stamp set.
The next card uses the new Jane’s Doodle Poppy stamp set. I stamped and coloured the images with Copic markers and added shading with Prismacolor pencils. The sentiment is from the Girlfriend set. The link to that post is here.
The next card uses Doodle Butterflies again. I stamped and coloured the images with Copic markers and created a Distress ink wash for the background. The sentiment is from the Girlfriend set. The link to that post is here.
I had fun pulling out the Dogs stamp set to create this little scene. Again coloured with Copics. The background is Distress Oxide ink blending. The link to that post is here.
Moving along…This card uses the Happy Camper set. I love creating little scenes. The link to that card is here.
It’s no surprise that I love to create tags, and this is no exception. The link to this card is here. I used texture paste and a stencil to create the background. It created a perfect backdrop for the flowers from the Plumeria stamp set. The sentiment is from the All Occasions set.
This next card makes me happy! I love how it turned out. You can find the original link here. I used a mask to create the background. The stamp sets used are Rain or Shine and Life is Good.
Almost there….the next card uses a Christmas set called Driving Home for Christmas, but I thought I would use it for a different occasion. It also uses the Patterns and Cake! stamp sets. The original link is here.
And finally, I have a Thankful card using the Plumeria stamp set. The sentiment is from the Thankful set. The original post can be found here.
Phew. If you are still with me…congratulations! I didn’t realise I hadn’t posted so many of my Jane’s Doodles cards here to my blog.
If you want to know anything about any of these cards, just contact me through the email icon on my blog.
I’m back with one more card using products from the Penny Black’s Full Bloom release.
Today’s card is a really clean and simple one layer card featuring a cute bear from the Number 1 stamp set. There is a coordinating die set to match this stamp set, but I didn’t use it on this project.
I stamped the image and coloured it with Copic markers. I decided to use the sentiment ‘teacher’ but there are other options in the set as well. I added some ground and then scored a border around the outside with my scoring stylus and score board. Couldn’t get any more simple than that!
Hello! I have been busy crafting at my desk this weekend. Today’s card uses products from Penny Black’s Full Bloom release.
This bird image is from the Peaceful Time stamp set, and I stamped it in Copic friendly ink onto some Neenah solar white card stock and coloured it with Copics. I used a Spellbinders circle die to cut around the image. I did extend the branch in the image to reach the edges of the circle using a Copic multi-liner pen.
To create the impressed leaves in the background, I took two of the small leaf dies from the Peaceful Time Cut out creative die set, and repeatedly ran them through my die cutting machine, using a tan embossing mat to impress the images, rather than cut them out. This created a subtle, textured background to mount the focal image onto.
Happy Friday! I’m back with another card using products from the latest Penny Black release called Full Bloom.
Today’s card uses a cute critter from a set called It’s Your Day. There are some cute images in this set.
I painted a subtle watercolour wash for the background. Once it was dry, I stamped the image in VersaFine Onyx black ink. I then stamped the image again with Copic friendly ink onto some Copic friendly card stock and coloured the image with Copics. I fussy cut around the mouse and balloon, then adhered them onto the watercolour piece. The sentiment is from the same set.
