Jane’s Doodles Cards Galore!

Jane's Doodle Banner

Hello! Long time no hear! My life has been somewhat hectic of late, and I haven’t had a lot of time for card making or blogging!

However, I have today off from work and I thought I would catch up on my blog and the cards that I have made for Jane’s Doodles over the past 6 weeks or so that I haven’t posted here yet. Buckle in! I’ll keep it brief. I won’t list the supplies for each one, as I’m not sure it is worth my while, but if you want to know something, just contact me!

First up is a card that is going up on the JD blog tonight – so consider it a preview! It uses the Mom and Bless Your Heart stamp sets.

Next up are two cards that use the Oh Ship! stamp set. The sentiment on the first card is from the Birthday Wishes stamp set and the small sentiment on the second cards is from the All Occasions stamp set.

The next card uses the Tropical Fun stamp set – perfect summery images in this set.

Birthday cards and tags are always needed in my house, so the next two cards have been or will be put to use very quickly. They use the Magical stamp set.

Stamps: See links under each card

If you stuck around with me for this long, well done! Please contact if you want to know specific supplies. I’ll be back next week for a Jane’s Doodles blog hop featuring some new stamp sets. Until then,

Jane’s Doodles Blog Hop, 30% off Sale and a Giveaway

Jane's Doodle Banner

Hello! Welcome to another Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design Team are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp release – five sets in total. You should have arrived from Milka’s blog. If you get lost along the way, there is a list of blog hop contributors at the end of this post.

Without further ado, here are the five new sets.

Free as a Bird

Hibiscus

Angels

All Occasions

Bear Hugs

First up is my favourite of all the new sets and it’s called Free As a Bird. I had a lot of fun colouring these funky birds using Copics. To create the four windows, I measured everything up and hand cut them out with a craft knife and a metal ruler. I inked behind the windows with Distress Oxide inks, and then I mounted the window panel over the top with 3D mounting foam.

Next up I have used the Bear Hugs stamp set. This is a simple one layer card – stamped and coloured with Copics.

This next card uses the Angels stamp set, and I also used the Thank You sentiment from the All Occasions stamp set. This is a great sentiment set that I will be reaching for often.

It’s hard to capture in the photo, but the angel is sparkly and shimmery, as are the clouds in the background.

Last but not least, I have made a tag using the Hibiscus stamp set, with another sentiment from the All Occasions sentiment set. For something different (as I always reach for my Copics), I used Distress Oxide inks to add colour to the flower using a finger sponge dauber. I then re-stamped the original image again, to make sure the edges were nice and crisp.

Giveaway:
In addition to Jane having a 30% off sale on all clear stamps until Thursday, she is giving a stamp set of your choice to one lucky winner. All you need to do is comment on all the blogs in the hop and you’ll be in with a chance to win! The winner will be announced on Friday. Good luck!
