I have this card over on the Jane’s Doodles blog today. Lots of masking and Copic colouring on this one. I used the Anemone and You Got This stamp sets.

I mounted the panel onto a white note card using some fun foam.

I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring Jane’s Love Birds set. I simply adore this set! Head over to the Jane’s Doodle blog to see the post there.
I wasn’t sure where I was going with this card, so when I don’t know, I usually just stamp, colour (in this case with Copics) and fussy cut the images. This is what I did with this one. To add some interest to the blue card base, I stamped some hearts from the Love stamp set to create a tone on tone effect – subtle and not too overpowering.

Stamps: Jane’s Doodles Love Birds and Love stamp sets
Card: X-Press It blending card, Hero Arts layering papers – Cerulean
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Hero Arts Shadow ink – Pool, Soft Pool, Distress Ink – Salty Ocean
Other Supplies: Copic Markers, Fun foam, Lawn Fawn Say Cheese die, Cuttlebug, Ink Blending tool

Hello! I think Adele’s song was playing on repeat the whole time I made this card, but it’s a good song, and I quite like how the card turned out as well!
I used the Penny Black slapstick/cling stamp called Birthday Tweetings (well part of the stamp) as well as the Chat Bubbles Creative die set.
I stamped and then coloured the phone with Copic markers. I fussy cut the phone, as I didn’t need to bird this time round, although it is a very cute and whimsical image.
The background looked a little plain to me, so I decided to use the Chat Bubble Creative die set and emboss the speech bubbles into the background using an embossing mat in my die cutting machine. I find that this adds more interest to the card, without taking away from the focal image.

I adhered the phone and sentiment with some foam tape and then mounted that onto the card base with more foam. I hand drew the phone cord.

Penny Black products used:
Penny Black 40-431 Birthday Tweetings stamp set
Penny Black 51-003 Chat Bubbles Creative die set
Stamps: Penny Black Birthday Tweetings stamp set
Card: X-Press It blending card, Yellow card stock, Grey card stock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Versamark ink
Other Supplies: Copic markers, Penny Black Chat Bubbles Creative dies, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders Embossing mat, Clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen, Yellow Sprinkle, Anti-static powder bag, White embossing powder, Heat tool, Foam dimensionals, Copic multi liner 0.3,
I hope you are having a great week.

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought I would get in nice and early with making a card for my Mum. You can find it on the Jane’s Doodle blog.
I stamped the image from the Mom stamp set and coloured it with Copic markers. I white heat embossed the sentiment (from the same set) onto some black card stock. It’s a rather small 10cm square card (4 inches square).

For the background, I used my scoreboard and scoring stylus to create a subtle border. I think it frames the vase well, adding a textural feature.

And before I go, I forgot to share another card that was on the Jane’s Doodle blog several weeks ago. It used the Daisies stamp set. I masked then stamped the images onto watercolour card stock and coloured them Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. I added some brown Distress ink to the edges before removing the border masks.

Stamps: Jane’s Doodles Mom stamp set
Card: X-Press It blending card, Black card stock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Versamark watermark ink
Other Supplies: Copic Markers, Martha Stewart scoring board, Scoring stylus, Foam squares, Hero Arts white embossing powder, Heat tool, Anti-static powder bag

Hello! Thanks for joining me today for a blog hop for Jane’s Doodles Stamps. If you have arrived from Vesna’s blog you are in the right place. If you want to start from the beginning, there is a blog hop order at the end of this post with links.
Today we are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp set called Plants. A very on-trend stamp set, perfect for many different occasions.

Today I have created more of a masculine birthday card with this set. I created a watercolour-y background with my Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. I stamped and coloured the image with a Copics, then added some Prismacolor pencil shading. The sentiment was stamped and white heat embossed onto to dark grey card stock.

GIVEAWAY:
Jane is generously giving one stamp set of your choice from the store to one lucky winner. Just leave a comment on all the blogs along the hop for your chance to win.
