I’m dropping by today with a card that was over on the Jane’s Doodles blog earlier this week. It uses the Rain or Shine stamp set and I created the tone on tone background with some love hearts from the Love Birds stamp set.

I’m feeling a little under the weather this week, so I’m popping in super quick with my Sunny Studio card.

How awesome is the Sunny Studio stamp set called Sunny Sentiments? Check it out if you haven’t already. It is such a fun and easy set to use and it has co-ordinating dies which is even better.

My card is pretty straight forward. I did some masking in the background to create the sun rays. The clouds and sun were stamped and die cut, then coloured with Copic markers. You can see the sun has a nice layer of Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen.

Some elements are popped up with foam tape to add some interest.

I recently had some fun with Jane’s Doodles Dogs stamp set. This recent card of Jane’s was the inspiration for my card – I loved her CAS design.

A little bit of masking, some Copics and there you have it! Too easy.

I had some fun creating this card using the Sunny Studio Sending My Love stamp set. This set has lots of sweet critters, but I concentrated on the mailbox for this one.

I created some masks out of Inkadinkadoo masking paper for the clouds and the grass and then sponged on some distress ink (Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers and Mowed Lawn). All the images are from the Sending my Love set, except the Love word sentiment which is from the Furever Friends die set.

I wanted some texture on the card base (to add some interest to a rather CAS card), and the best I could find was some Tim Holtz Distress watercolour card stock.

I have another Jane’s Doodles card to share with you today using several sets – Love Birds, Garden Friends and Cheers stamp sets. I felt like making a one layer card and thankfully it worked out first go (this rarely is the case with me!) All coloured with Copic Markers.
