Flower Cascade

simplicity sister

Hello! I’m back with another card for Penny Black. This card uses a beautiful new cling stamp called Flower Cascade.

PB Enjoy | Marion Vagg

I stamped the image in the top right hand corner and coloured it with Copic Markers. I coloured and cut out another flower and adhered it with foam squares to add some dimension to the card. The enjoy sentiment is a die cut from the Hooray creative die set.

Love You – Jane’s Doodles

Jane's Doodle Banner

I’m back with another card using Jane’s Doodles stamps.  You can find it here on the Jane’s Doodles blog. I used the Anemone and Love stamp sets. The anemone (I had to extend the stem with a black marker) was coloured with Copic markers and I thought it looked rather like a poppy by the time I was done with it. I stamped the sentiment in VersaFine black ink and then clear heat embossed it. I made a small slit with my craft knife above and below the sentiment and put the stem of the anemone through the slits.

You are a Blessing – Jane’s Doodles

Jane's Doodle Banner

I had fun making this Jane’s Doodles card and you can find it here on the Jane’s Doodles blog. I’m still on holidays, so I had plenty of time to colour these flowers. They have been shuffled around the card several times, and after about a week, I finally put it all together.

All the flowers were coloured with Copic markers. I used flowers from the Anemone, Daisies and Spring Blessings stamp sets. I did some ink blending in the background and splattered some water on it to give it a distressed look.

Jane’s Doodles Blog Hop

Jane's Doodle Banner

Hello hello. Today is the release blog hop for Jane’s Doodles Stamps. You should have arrived from Zrinka’s blog. If you get lost along the way, there is a blog hop order at the end of my post that should point you in the right direction.

Today we are showcasing the latest stamp set to the store called Cake!

Cake!
Jane's Doodles cake

I coloured the cake with Copic markers and then fussy cut around the image. I stamped the floral wreath from the Mom stamp set in a light lavender ink onto the card base. In hindsight, I would have used a darker shade of purple as it dried a lot lighter than it stamped – but subtle is good sometimes.

JD Let's Celebrate | Marion Vagg

It’s hard to tell, but the icing on the cake has a lovely layer of clear Wink of Stella. Very pretty in real life.

For You – Penny Black

simplicity sister

I’m back with another Penny Black card. No stamps used on this one, only dies. I used the Party For You sentiment die and the Love is Growing die. To adhere all the dies to the card panel, I first applied a piece of double sided adhesive sheet to the back of my card stock. I then ran the dies through my die cut, essentially creating my own die cut stickers. It saved me a lot of hassle as I didn’t have to apply an liquid adhesives which can get messy.
