I’m back with another card for the online card class – Clean and Simple Card making 3.

Today I cut some stars out of some masking paper and then used the negative space as a mask. Then I clear heat embossed the Hero Arts Flower Dot pattern before blending in a rainbow of colours. Happy and bright and a one layer card 🙂

It’s hard to tell, but I covered the colourful stars in some clear Wink of Stella brush glitter pen.

I’m also entering this into the Hero Arts Birthday Challenge making a rainbow birthday card.

I’m back with a card that I made on behalf of my kids for my hubby’s birthday which was yesterday. He told me it is the best card I have made him – so I guess it gets the thumbs up! Gotta love that.

It didn’t take long to put together. The chevrons behind the cut-out letters is washi tape.

And what’s a birthday without a cake? There is ALWAYS time for one in our household. In my opinion you are never too old for a fun cake!

It’s Friday…and I’m on holidays! School is out for 2 weeks! Yee Haa!

For this week’s Friday Feature, the Belles are using the recently released stamp set Beside the Sea.

I stamped the image and then coloured it with Copics. I even decorated a matching envelope. This is a mini card measuring 10cm by 10cms.

Can you believe that even though I live beside the sea, I had to Google the colours for a seagull? I see these guys all the time looking for free food! My daughter loves to chase them 🙂

Yay, it’s Friday!

For this week’s Friday Feature, the Belles are using the newly released stamp set Butterfly Sunshine. It is such a lovely set.

I must admit I don’t use a lot of kraft cardstock – to be honest I find it a bit ‘dirty’ looking, but I thought it worked OK here as it really let the focal image take centre stage. I couldn’t have spaced out the sun rays evenly if I hadn’t used my stamp-a-ma-jig. I have only acquired one recently, and I don’t know how I managed so long with out one! A must have tool in your stash, especially if you are working with rubber stamps like this set is.

Happy Friday Peeps!

For this week’s Friday Feature at AnnaBelle Stamps, the Belles are using the newly released stamp set Splat Attack. Very trendy right now. If you want to grab yourself a set, Andrea has it discounted by 20% for one whole week.

I decided to have a bit of fun this week. When I first saw the Splat Attack set, I thought of creating some little creatures! Fun, doncha think? I’ve created several projects suitable for a birthday party.

First up an Action Wobble card!

And here it is in full ‘action wobble’ mode. SO much fun!

On my recent holiday, I came across some glassine bags from Big W and make some little treat bags.

Next are some treat tubes filled with Skittles…and yes I did sample of few.

I love how the grizzly faced one is staring at the happy one – gotta love those unpredictable googly eyes!
