Thinking of You Sunflowers

Jane's Doodle Banner

Hi! I’m back with a Jane’s Doodles card using a gorgeous stamp set called Sunflowers. Head on over to the Jane’s Doodles blog for more awesome inspiration.

I stamped and coloured the sunflower and leaves with Copic markers and fussy cut the images. I tend to do this instead of masking, as I like to shuffle all the images around (which I can do for ages) before deciding on a final layout. I am a visual person, so I have to see things in real life – not just picture them in my head).

The sentiment is from the All Occasions set. For the background, I decided to use some patterned paper – I have no idea where it is from as I very rarely used any, but I thought it went with the autumnal theme nicely. I coated the sunflower in a layer of clear Wink of Stella for some shine.

Supplies

Stamps: Jane’s Doodles Sunflowers and All Occasions stamp sets

Card: Neenah solar white card stock

Ink: Memento Tuxedo black ink, VersFine Onyx Black ink

Other Supplies: Copic markers, MFT Stitched rectangle die, Cuttlebug, 3D mounting foam, Wink of Stella glitter brush pen

Thanks for stopping by today.

Jane’s Doodle New Release Blog Hop

Jane's Doodle Banner

Hello and welcome to the Jane’s Doodles blog hop where the Design team are showcasing Jane’s latest stamp release – three new stamp sets that are simply adorable. You should have arrived from Milka’s blog. If you get lost along the way, there is a list of blog hop contributors at the end of this post.

Without further ado, here are the three new sets – and I think you are going to love them!

Happer Camper

Outdoors

Patterns

I have two cards to share with you today. The first up uses my favourite animal from the Outdoor set – the moose! He is simply adorable! The trees are from the Happy Camper stamp set.

I partially die cut a circle from white card stock to create the focal piece. This was inked up with Distress Oxide inks. All images were stamped, coloured with Copics then fussy cut. I mounted the focal panel with 3D mounting squares onto a white card base.

My next card uses elements from all three of the new sets. The Patterns stamp set was used to create the tone-on-tone background arrow pattern. Again all images were stamped, coloured with Copic markers and fussy cut. This card is quite a long card (23 cms) so I will be making a custom envelope for this one.

Giveaway:
In addition to Jane having a 20% off sale on all clear stamps until this Tuesday, she is giving a stamp set of your choice to one lucky winner. All you need to do is comment on all the blogs in the hop and you’ll be in with a chance to win! The winner will be announced this Wednesday. Good luck!

Jane’s Doodles Cards Galore!

Jane's Doodle Banner

Hello! Long time no hear! My life has been somewhat hectic of late, and I haven’t had a lot of time for card making or blogging!

However, I have today off from work and I thought I would catch up on my blog and the cards that I have made for Jane’s Doodles over the past 6 weeks or so that I haven’t posted here yet. Buckle in! I’ll keep it brief. I won’t list the supplies for each one, as I’m not sure it is worth my while, but if you want to know something, just contact me!

First up is a card that is going up on the JD blog tonight – so consider it a preview! It uses the Mom and Bless Your Heart stamp sets.

Next up are two cards that use the Oh Ship! stamp set. The sentiment on the first card is from the Birthday Wishes stamp set and the small sentiment on the second cards is from the All Occasions stamp set.

The next card uses the Tropical Fun stamp set – perfect summery images in this set.

Birthday cards and tags are always needed in my house, so the next two cards have been or will be put to use very quickly. They use the Magical stamp set.

Supplies

Stamps: See links under each card

If you stuck around with me for this long, well done! Please contact if you want to know specific supplies. I’ll be back next week for a Jane’s Doodles blog hop featuring some new stamp sets. Until then,
