My first card features the Magnolia stamp set. Magnolia’s are such magnificent flowers. The sentiment is from an older set (but still a favourite – Doodle Flowers 2)

I used a Lifestyle crafts embossing folder in the background – something subtle so those magnolias could take centre stage.

Next up I made some tags using the Homemade set. These would be perfect to attach to some home baked gifts. The tone-on-tone dots in the background use the Stripes and Dots stamp set.

Today I have created more of a masculine birthday card with this set. I created a watercolour-y background with my Gansai Tambi watercolour paints. I stamped and coloured the image with a Copics, then added some Prismacolor pencil shading. The sentiment was stamped and white heat embossed onto to dark grey card stock.

I have three cards to share with you today – I just couldn’t stop! The first two use a combination of Suzi’s Easter and Funny Bunny.

All images are coloured with Copic Markers and on the first two cards I masked off the images and gently blended in some blue and green distress ink. I can’t stop using my clear Wink of Stella glitter brush pen at the moment, so all of my projects today have some shimmer on them. You can see some on the Easter eggs in the close up photo on the Hoppy Easter card.

And last, but not least, I have used the He is Risen stamp set to create a tag/bookmark, again coloured with Copic Markers.

Hello! Today we are having a release blog hop for Jane’s Doodles Stamps. You should have arrived from Vesna’s blog. If you get lost along the way, there is a blog hop order at the end of my post that should point you in the right direction.

Today we are showcasing a fun new stamp set called Unicorn.

I’ve made two very CAS cards with this cute set. First up is a sparkly unicorn frolicking in the clouds. I created the clouds by making a mask from masking paper and sponging on Tumbled Glass distress ink.

And next up is a similar card but with some sparkly clouds and a rainbow.

Hello! Today is the release blog hop for Jane’s Doodles Stamps. You should have arrived from Zrinka’s awesome blog. If you get lost along the way, there is a blog hop order at the end of my post that should point you in the right direction.

Today the DT are showcasing the latest stamp set to the store called Simon. This stamp set is a lot of fun.

When I first get a new stamp set I often look at the sentiments and plan my card around that. I loved the ‘You rock my boat’ sentiment, so I knew that I would use the boat image and then to add some interest I popped the bird on the edge of the boat. My hubby is really into fishing, so with some masking I added the fishing rod in the boat as well. Lots of masking, ink blending and Copic colouring to create my scene.

Next up I wanted to use Simon himself. To be different, I created a wine bottle tag – for the fishing enthusiast in my life…on a bottle of wine from his favourite wine region in New Zealand.

Welcome to the latest spotlight blog hop for Jane’s Doodles Stamps. You should have arrived from Vesna’s blog. If you get lost along the way, there is a blog hop order at the end of my post that should point you in the right direction.

Today we are spotlighting the latest two stamp sets to the store called Daisies and Special Delivery. Both sets are very versatile and beautifully designed by Jane herself.

First up I stamped the daisy stamp onto some white card stock and coloured the image with Copics. I then fussy cut around the flowers before adhering it with foam dimensionals onto a yellow card base.

For my second card, I die cut some clouds from some masking paper. I then sponged on some Salty Ocean distress ink and moved the mask several times to create the cloud scene. The stork and baby were coloured with Copic markers and I then fussy cut around these before adhering them with foam dimensionals.
