Hello. Welcome to the spotlight blog hop for Jane’s Doodles Stamps. You should have arrived from Zrinka’s blog.

Today we are spotlighting the newest stamp set to the store called Love. Check it out! It is perfect for those special people in your life. I adore the big and playful font. It’s perfect for this Valentine’s weekend.

First up I have a one layer card. After stamping the ‘Love You’ sentiment in Hero Arts Pale Tomato ink, I then stamped it again onto some masking paper and cut around the letters leaving a small white border. I placed the mask over my stamped sentiment and then used the love heart stamp from the set and stamped it all over the panel with Hero Arts Soft Pool ink.

To create the background of this next card, I mixed some Festive Berries Distress ink with some white embossing paste and used a love heart stencil from My Favorite Things. The ‘You’ and ‘Me’ were white heart embossed onto the heart die cut. I hand drew a plus with a Versamark pen and then white heat embossed that as well.
