Jane's Doodle Banner

I am over on the Jane’s Doodle blog again this week, using a set called Belated Birthday. I am really having a lot of fun with this set at the moment and obviously I am having a lot of fun making tags as well!

I found this tag in my stash that I made sometime ago using an acetate stencil I made from an old SSS Sunshine die (which I believe is not available any more) and some texture paste that I had coloured with Distress Ink. The images are all coloured with Copics and then I fussy cut them out. I added some clear Wink of Stella (of course!) and some Glossy Accents to add some shine.

I love making tags and they are simple projects that I can put on my kid’s friends gifts.

Supplies

Stamps: Jane’s Doodles Belated Birthday stamp set

Card: X-Press It blending card, Black card stock

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Distress ink Mustard Seed

Other Supplies: Copic Markers, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter brush pen, Texture Paste, Palette knife, Paper Smooches Tag die, Cuttlebug, Hole Punch, Glossy Accents, SSS Sunshine die (discontinued), Acetate, Hero Arts embossing powder – white, Heat tool

Thanks for visiting,

Marion

  1. You always make the most fabulous tags, and you have seriously made that sweet little snail ‘shine’ !

  2. I’ve been after a die or stencil like this ‘sunshine’ one for ages. ESPECIALLY happy you used it as I know you mention all supplies you’ve used. Then my heart dropped. DISCONTINUED I’m gutted. Love all your cards and tags so much and would be so happy if you (or anyone reading this comment) could tell me if there’s anything similar/same in a store else where please where I could purchase it. Thanks for sharing your talent.
