Hello. I am slowly get back onto the card making bandwagon again. I have had family staying with us the last 2 weeks and that has involved a lot of things, but not any card making. It felt good to get back into it today.

I have a Penny Black card to share with you using the adorable Bunny Love die. I blended in some Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber Oxide inks onto some white card stock. I spritzed it with some water before die cutting out the bunnies. I then die cut the bunnies again from white card stock and inlaid them into the coloured panel. I then adhered another white layer of die cuts over the top of that to add some subtle dimension.

The sentiment is part of a sentiment from the Smitten stamp set, which is a newly released stamp set.

A simple but striking card that was fairly quick to make.

  1. Happy New Year Marion! I hadn’t made any cards either, we had family staying over Chrissy too, which was great, but then I have struggling with the switch to nbn as well as mojo, and now am seriously in need of some crafty time lol. My hubby started uni again this week, so crossed fingers I can get heaps done this weekend. I am working M-F business hours and I can really struggle with being creative in the evenings I am such a morning person. anyway….. your background is so bright and beautiful, it was the perfect choice to add those little white silhouette bunnies!

  2. This card is really striking. Such good ideas for a simple but very effective card. Love it.
