Robot Bookmark
Today we went to a birthday party, so I needed something that was suitable for a 4 year old. I won a set of robot stamps last year from The Stamps of Life and I haven’t really inked them up until now. My aim was to make a personalised card, but it ended up as a bookmark! It is funny how things turn out sometimes.
I am entering this into the current Simon Says Stamp Chipboard Challenge over at Lilypad cards. I used chipboard fabric Thickers letters to personalise the bookmark – and covered them with glossy accents to add a bit of shine.
And to wrap the present, I stamped robots onto some paper and and my 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter coloured them in. They had so much fun!
Supplies:
Stamps: The Stamps of Life “robots2build” by Stephanie Barnard
Ink: Memento – Tuxedo Black, Distress inks – Chipped Sapphire, Faded Jeans, Weathered Wood
Card: X-Press It Blending card, Bazzill card – Navy Blue
Other Supplies: Copic markers, American crafts Thickers chipboard fabric letters, Glossy Accents, Kaisercraft turquoise ribbon, AnnaBelle Stamps Natural cotton thread, Basic Grey button – blue, foam dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by,
Such a cute robot – Love the colours you chose and a personalised bookmark is such a wonderful gift!
Adorable tag. Love how the arms stick out.

Like the 3D look of the Robot bookmarker & the coloring by your children. Nice to get the children involved. The Robot brings back wonderful memories of Lost in Space tv show. Do you know that show?
