Class cards

Just thought I would share some more cards that I made for the CAS class. This first one I made on the very first day of class but never posted it! It is another interpretation of Kristina sketch from Day 1.

I made a mask and then did some sponging to create the cloudy sky. The bunting is coloured in with Copics and then covered with Glossy Accents.

And finally this is a set of cards that I made before Christmas as a gift set for my son’s preschool teacher. Even though it was made before the class, it fits into the CAS card sets as shown by Julie on Day 10. I LOVE card sets and make a lot of them. They make the perfect home made gift. It is a simplified version of this card that I made for the Summer Card Boot Camp.

They are all coloured with Copics and the bee and flower centres are covered with Glossy Accents – of course! I made 2 of each colour combo.

  1. Both wonderful projects Marion. I have never made a set of cards before – yours are always so beautiful 🙂

  2. These are just wonderful! I too love sets and give them as gifts often! People always love getting them!

  3. Hi Marion, as usual you have made the most gorgeous creations and have inspired me! I love your take on the class sketch, those clouds are beautiful! But I also came to say that I really got inspired by your card set, so simple and yet so precious. I was looking for a different but easy and quick design to make a few more cards for Martha to take to the nursing home and voila, I stumbled across your cards! So I hope you don’t mind but I cased the design using some of my PTI flower stamps! Thanks again for the inspiration! XXX

  4. Absolute cuteness!!! Love those shiny banners and cloud background… and as for those funky flowers & bees, who could resist! More CAS perfection!

  5. Oh I love the subtle inking to show the clouds and the cute banner 🙂 Your card set is just perfect too and so useful 🙂
