I’m back as promised with some more Christmas cards using new Penny Black products from their latest releases, ‘Merry and Joy’ and ‘Autumn Bliss’.

I think I had my Laura Bassen hat on when I made these cards – I love her style and everything she makes is AMAZING! She often makes cards with stripes on them, so I borrowed a leaf from her book.

For this first card I die cut the Star Noel Creative die from a panel of white card stock, but instead of using the positive of the die, I used the negative part. To create the stripes underneath the Noel, I cut some thin strips from scrap card stock and adhered them to the base card. I popped up the Noel sentiment with some mounting foam. The holly image and the Merry Christmas sentiment are from the Carefree Christmas stamp set.

My second card continues the stripy theme, but this time I die cut the Merry and Joy Creative die from white card stock several times and adhered them together to create a thicker sentiment.

The Holly image is again from the Carefree Christmas stamp set and the white heat embossed sentiment is from the Merry Up sentiment stamp set.

And here they are together.

Thanks for stopping by. To view and or purchase any of these new products from these releases, head to the Penny Black online store.

If you have any questions about my cards, just email me. I’ll be back soon,

Marion
