It’s the little things
Just sharing quickly a card that I made on the weekend using some new (to me) Hero Arts stamps that I purchased recently.
I love Hero Arts pool note cards and that background stamp called Birds and Branches! And thanks to Jess for my button! It was the perfect contrasting colour. I think I may make a set of these in different colours.
I am entering this into the Hero Arts Feb competition. My card fits into 2 categories – it is a friendship card and is a liberal interpretation of the sketch on the right.
Stamps: Hero Arts Birds and Branches (AR173), Hero Arts Find Joy (CL497)
Ink: Versacolor – turquoise
Card: Hero Arts folded cards – Hero Hues – Blush, XPress-It Blending card
Other Supplies: Fiskars scallop border punch, American Crafts button, AnnaBelle Stamps 0.8mm twine, Glue dots
Thanks for stopping by,
Beautiful card and wonderful design work.
I love Hero Arts Stamps . . . I’m NOT so patiently awaiting an order of some to arrive any day now. This is so pretty Marion! The teal and orange are beautiful together!
Love this color combination! So fresh and fun!
Like the Spring feel of this background stamping.
Awesome tone on tone Marion, Especially with that pop of orange! I can see this stamp is going to be a great addition to your collection!
This is absolutely stunning!
Your wonderful design shows everything off to perfection and I love the contrasting colours 🙂
You have the most amazing eye for colours Marion, and this card is no exception!! I love the tone on tone in the background and the fabulous pop of yellow in the button! I can see another stamp added to my wish list-lol!! 🙂
Love the colour contrast also, that stamp is beautiful!
Love the tone on tone look for the background stamp and the orange and aqua blue together are fantastic!!! 🙂
I love how you let that background image be the star of the show and that button really is the perfect touch!
