Say it in…Yellow and White

Hi there,

At AnnaBelle Stamps this week we have another colour challenge for you. Hope that you can play along with us. We would love to see your creations.

(tag – ac067)

I will admit that I struggled a little with this colour combo, yellow is not my normal go to colour. But alas, after about 4 attempts I came up with the following – slightly different versions of the same thing.

I created the background panel by alternatively adhering thin strips of yellow to a white piece of card. I then cut these into strips and then re-adhered them creating a diamond pattern. The sentiment and leaves are from the Garden Silhouettes stamp set. I thought the sentiment matched the retro background.

And here is version 2.

Supplies:

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps Garden Silhouettes
Ink: Versafine – Onyx Black
Card: AnnaBelle Stamps pre, -cut cards, Yellow bazzill x 2 shades
Other Supplies: Fiskars cutting board, WRMK Corner Chomper, satin ribbon – white, Zots glue dots

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT have created. Their links are on my side bar.
