Thinking of You – His and Hers

Good morning,

I am currently taking the latest Online Card Class – His and Hers. I was lucky enough to win a spot 🙂

This is my Day 1 Homework. I have made a His and Her card, both using the same sketch and both using the masking technique that Jennifer McGuire showed us in her Day 1 video. I had fun playing with my new Jane’s Doodle Stamp set called Doodle Flowers to create these single layer cards. Both of these cards use the set. For the His card, I used one of the leaf stamps and created a background. Does it work as a masculine card?

  1. I think the background for the masculine card works! Great craftmanship on the stamping and coloring.

  3. Wow, Marion! These are wonderful! I’m wishing I signed up for this class. Maybe I should be a late entrant… 🙂

  4. These are amazing Marion, I’ve nothing else to say…. except that I’m soooo jealous, this class looks incredible.

  5. Oh they are both fantastic Marion, love the colours on your ‘hers’ card and the second totally works for a guy :0)

  6. Wonderful! I love the vibrant colors on the first card and the pattern and colors of the masculine card. Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing other things you make in the class.

  7. Oh my, what a glorious pair of cards – all the colouring is gorgeous!! The leaves work great as a “man” card 🙂 A+

  8. Loved your eye-catching cards in the student gallery!

  9. I love the Thinking of You card.
The manly one is nice but I have found that men don’t actually care that much about cards. I only just received one from Dan after 12 months and this doubled as a birthday card as it fell on the same day.
He always says ‘I forgot cause I’m a guy’ when I give him a card for an anniversary and he truly means it – that he just forgot.
    Anyway, AGAIN, beautiful work!

  11. I love these! Very clean and striking!
