Say it with…Chocolate!

So…who is up for a chocolate challenge? Interpret it anyone you like – either using the colours of chocolate, or like I did…using chocolates you can eat!

(tag – ac066)

I made a little folder/box to hold a yummy love heart chocolate. There is nothing better than saying thank you with some chocolate, in my opinion. I white heat embossed some stamps from the Love Birds set. Oh and I got all inky with distress inks as well.

I didn’t know how to close it – I tried ribbon and twine, but they all covered up the sentiment so in the end I went with a clear band made from a cello bag. Not sure I like it, but it was the best I could come up with.

And I hear you say…where is the chocolate?? Well here it is…but probably not for long!

Supplies:

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps Love Birds stamp set
Ink: Distress Inks – Wild Honey, Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick, Versamark watermark ink
Card: X-Press It Blending card, White bazzill
Other Supplies: Blending tool, WRMK Corner Chomper, HA white embossing powder – ultra fine, heat gun, clear cello bag, Wonder tape, Martha Stewart score board, chocolate, AnnaBelle Stamps 3mm silver metallic sprinkles, Glossy Accents (to adhere sprinkles), foam dimensionals

Say it with…Handmade Gifts

Hello again! It is Friday so that means another challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps.

I often make card sets to give as gifts for birthdays and Christmas, so that it what I have made here. I have seen a lot of negative die cut images used in Blogland of late, so I thought I would try my hand at it. This beautiful card by Carly Robertson was all the inspiration that I needed. There are 6 cards in the set, complete with a box to house them in.

I clear embossed the cursive background (BBD#6) behind the heart and popped the front panel onto some foam dimensionals. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Dotted Flowers set.

Supplies:

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps “Dotted Flowers” stamp set, AnnaBelle Stamps “BBD#6” stamp set
Ink: Versafine Ink โ€“ Onyx Black, VersaMark Watermark ink
Card: Regal Craft Card – White textured, Bazzil card stock – various colours
Other Supplies: AnnaBelle 4mm pearls, Fiskars stamp press, American Crafts clear embossing powder, heat gun, anti static pad, Die-Namics Hearts-a-Plenty die, Cuttlebug, foam dimensionals, AnnaBelle Kraft Box C6, Sheer white ribbon

Gift bags – Print Candee

Hi everyone,

Today I have a couple of gift bags/boxes to share with you using Print Candee products. This month the Creative Team are working on projects with the theme of a ‘gift for you’ and since I love to give little boxed gifts – it was right up my alley.

All the papers I used are digital papers from the Nature Shapes – paper pack from Pixel Paper Prints. Aren’t they just beautiful? They printed perfectly onto my white card stock. I used the Ribbon Bag – blank template to make the bags. The butterflies are the Colorful Patterned Butterflies by Print Candee and the labels are from the Assorted Labels set by Print Candee. They were so easy to make, and I know that I will be making a lot more for parties in the future. Print Candee have many box templates to choose from. Check them out here.

And because I love making boxes, I kept going. This is a box template I have been meaning to try out for a while thanks to Kerry. Once again all the papers are digital papers from the Nature Shapes – paper pack from Pixel Paper Prints. Same Butterfly and Assorted Labels sets as above. These two boxes are filled with chocolates to give to two girls who are about to sit their HSC exams (final exams in Year 12 in NSW, Australia) who I taught when they were in Year 2 and Year 6! Both girls are close to my heart and I wish them all the best!
