Bugs Galore – Print Candee

Welcome to the July Blog Hop for Print Candee where you should have arrived from the lovely Kalyn’s blog.

Before I begin, today is a sad day for me as this is my last project as a member of the Print Candee Creative Team. I have come to the end of my term and have decided that it is time for me to step down. I have enjoyed working alongside such an awesome Design Team. Thank you ladies for being so AWESOME!  I know we will continue to stalk each other around blogland!

The theme for this month is anything goes – I love it as there are SOOOO many great digital products in the store to choose from.

For today’s project I have made a set of 8 note cards with matching envelopes. It is a little gift set for my Mother-in-law who is currently undergoing some medical treatment. I hope it puts a smile on her face.

There are 2 of each design.

I have used the Bug Clipart by Print Candee and paired it with some Chevron Pattern Digital Scrap booking Paper by Fancy Dog Studio. The sentiments are from the Hero Arts “Say it” Digi stamps. I wanted the set to remain flat, so added glossy accents to the bugs to add some interest and dimension.

Supplies

Digital Images/Stamps: Bug Clipart (by Print Candee), Chevron Pattern Digital Scrap booking Paper by Fancy Dog Studio (by Fancy Dog Studio), Hero Arts “Say It” digi stamps

Ink: Canon colour printer

Card: White card for printing (From Office National), Regal Craft Card – square white textured card, Regal Craft Cards – square envelopes

Other Supplies: Glossy accents

Next up on the hop is the talented Lisa.

Party Time at Print Candee

Who doesn’t love a party? Well the Creative Team are certainly in party mode at Print Candee. This month we are making party items using digital products that can be found in the Print Candee store. I decided to make a cupcake topper and cupcake wrapper and I also decorated a party thank you gift bag.

I printed off the Cupcake/Straw Flags Colorful Polka Dot (by Print Candee) to make the cupcake toppers. The great thing is that the images are editable, so you can write whatever you like on the flags. How cool is that?

To make the cupcake wrapper, I printed off some red polka dots from the Primary Polka Dots Paper Pack (by Print Candee), but used the Printable Cupcake Wrappers for Baby Showers (by Fancy Dog Studio) as a template.

To decorate a gift bag that I had, I used the same Cupcake/Straw Flags Colorful Polka Dot (by Print Candee) product as it had some other strips of polka dot papers in it. The scalloped circle was a tag from my stash and the thanks is a rub-on.

Supplies

Digital Images/Stamps: Cupcake/Straw Flags Colorful Polka Dot, (by Print Candee), Primary Polka Dots Paper Pack (by Print Candee), Printable Cupcake Wrappers for Baby Showers (by Fancy Dog Studio)

Ink: Canon colour printer

Card: White card for printing (From Office National)

Other Supplies: Red paper gift bag (Educational Experience), foam dimensionals, Kaisercraft scalloped tag, AnnaBelle Stamps metallic sprinkles, Tombow adhesive, Paper Smooches Thanks rub-on, Ladybird peg, tooth picks, carrot cake cupcake (Yummo!)

Be on the lookout for the other DT projects that they will be posting over the next little while. And if you haven’t already, head to the store as they have lots of party printables to make your party planning a breeze.

Until next time,

Marion

Print Candee – Just a note

*If you are looking for the latest AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge, see post below*

Welcome to the Creative Team’s blog hop for June where we showcase some of the amazing digital products that can be found at Print Candee. You should have arrived from the wonderful and talented Jocelyn‘s blog.

The team were given the following as our inspiration. We could either go with the colours or use it as a photo inspiration…well I did a bit of both. I like the distressed look of the numbers, so added a bit of distressing to my card and I also chose a muted colour palette – picking some clip art images from the store that were similar.

I have used some clip art birds from Adrienne Looman Designs (Clip art pastel birds and clip art bright birds) and also some branches from Pink Pueblo (Branch silhouette clip art). The background paper is from Print Candee (Aqua Blooms Paper Pack). I put it all into Illustrator and reduced the opacity of everything by about half and I also did some bird and branch flipping to come up with my one layer design. The sentiment is a Hero Arts digital sentiment from the ‘Say it’ set.

Supplies

Digital Images/Stamps: Clip art pastel birds and clip art bright birds by Adrienne Looman Designs, Branch silhouette clip art by Pink Pueblo, Aqua Blooms Paper Pack by Print Candee and Hero Arts ‘Say it’ digital sentiment set.

Ink: Canon colour printer

Card: White card for printing, AnnaBelle Stamps pre-cut white card

Other Supplies: Scissors for distressing, foam dimensionals

Here is the blog hop order, just in  case you get lost.

Print Candee – Tea-riffic!

Today I am popping in with a fun little card I have made using some Print Candee products. The Creative Team will be posting some lovely creations over the next week with the theme of thank you cards/projects for specific people (e.g: a teacher, mail man, hair stylist, etc.)

Being a teacher myself, I know that a little note of thanks can go a long way – so that is why I have made a card for a teacher. I can across this cute little tutorial and had to give it a try.

I used 3 lots of digital papers. The cup is made from the Buttercup paper pack (Digital Potpourri), the tag and inside pocket is made from the Chevron Pattern Digital Scrapbooking Paper pack (Fancy Dog Studios) and the Flower is made from the Owlicious (Happy Colors) paper pack.

The inside of the card – very punny!

The inside pocket which holds the tea bag.

Kinda cute don’t you think? Be on the look out for the other Creative Team projects as well. Their links are on my side bar.

Print Candee Blog Hop

Hey there crafty lovers,

Glad that you have joined me for this month’s blog hop at Print Candee. You should have arrived from Jocelyn’s blog. The Creative Team have been busy creating cards inspired by this photo.

I love all the summery colours. I was drawn to the middle bag on the left with all the rainbow stripes and the cool texture. It inspired this birthday card for a friend’s daughter who was having a rainbow themed birthday party! I think personalised cards are extra special.

I used the Rainbow Dots Paper Pack from The Digi Butterfly making sure I used the same colour sequence as the photo and the hexagon embossing folder gives the card great texture (like on the bag).

Supplies

Digital Images: Rainbow Dots Paper Pack (The Digi Butterfly)

Ink: Canon colour printer, Versacolor – Atlanta Blue, Tea Green, Orange, Camellia, Kaisercraft – Corn

Card: Regal Craft Cards – Textured white square pre-scored card, Bazzill card – beige

Other Supplies: MFT Butterflies die-namics, Cuttlebug, Sponge daubers, Craft Concepts – Hexagon Illusions embossing folder, AnnaBelle Stamps 4mm Icicles, Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue, craft wire – black, foam dimensionals, American Crafts Thickers, Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch

Head on over to the store and check out the HUGE range of digital products available.

Love Always – Print Candee Blog Hop

Glad that you have joined me for this month’s blog hop at Print Candee. You should have arrived from the Print Candee blog and after this you need to head on over to Joceyln’s Blog. The Creative Team have been busy whipping up some projects for Mother’s Day.

When I think of my Mum, she loves soft blue colours and roses. So I decided to make a box and combine these two things. I used some gorgeous blue digital papers called Green, Blue Simple Classic Paper Pack 308 (VN Digital Art) to cover the box base and to make the flower I used a lovely pink gingham paper from Essential Digital Paper Pack 300 (VN Digital Art) (I just reduced the opacity to 50%). And here it is.

To make the rose I did a search in Pinterest and came across this rose tutorial. I modified it a little bit to suit my project better. I inked up the edges of the rose with Spun Sugar Distress ink to add a little more depth.

And it all started with this wooden pencil box that I bought from Target –  I just made a lid to fit. I will put some chocolates in it for Mum and then she can use it as a box or maybe even a pencil holder!

Want to win some great prizes? Well, leave comments on each stop of the blog hop to increase your chances to win. Up for grabs are two $10 gift certificates to the Print Candee store.
