Christmas in July at AnnaBelle Stamps

Hi! Andrea has all the Christmas sets at the AnnaBelle Stamp’s store reduced by 30% for the month of July! What a great discount. Why not go and stock up?

For today’s Friday Feature, the Belles have been busy making Christmas cards. I created my own patterned paper by repeatedly stamping the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Holly Jolly Stamp set. I white heat embossed the baubles from the Ornamental Christmas set onto vellum and added some clear Wink of Stella glitter pen for some shimmer. I popped up the baubles with some mounting foam and in order to conceal the adhesive, I cut it the same shape as the inner part of the bauble.

Friday Feature – Christmas sets

AnnaBelle Stamps have a great range of Christmas sets and today the Belles are showcasing some of these sets. Head over to the AnnaBelle blog to check out all their projects.

Today I created a wreath using a leaf punch (which I have had punched for over 2 years now!) I just smooshed green ink over them before arranging them into a circle (I drew a circle in pencil to help me). To add some sparkle, I painted the leaves in some glitter glue and then added lots of AnnaBelle Sprinkles and a bow. The sentiment is from the Gifted Swirls stamp set.

Season's Greetings

Friday Feature – Jewelled Christmas

This week the Belles are showcasing the Jewelled Christmas Stamp set at AnnaBelle Stamps.

ff025

I had some fun trying a new technique this week – creating a marbled background with Adirondack alcohol inks onto glossy card stock. I decided to keep my project small as it was a bit of an experiment – so hence another tag πŸ™‚ I wasn’t sure if I could heat emboss over the top, but it worked a treat. I added some clear sprinkles to add some shine. The tag is nice and glossy in real life.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Hello. It’s time for another month long challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps…. and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Can you believe it?

I certainly can’t even get into Christmas mode as this week my family and I are moving, so I am up to my eyeballs in boxes and packing and to top it off I have a cold too! I will actually be taking a bit of a blogging break while we move – so things will be a little quiet here for a while. But the good news is that I hope to get a crafty space in our new house and not in the corner of our dining room!

Not your traditional Christmas colours, but I had fun experimenting. I white heat embossed the wreath ontoΒ  blue card stock, then water coloured the leaves with Distress markers and a watercolour brush.
