Hello! Today it is the Jane’s Doodles release blog hop. Yay! Two new sets have been released into the store and they are sooooo cute! Check them out.
If you follow my blog, you know I love cats – so I just had to colour this cute kitty like my cat Mack. I coloured him with Copics and added some detail with Prismacolor pencils.
And I made a really quick tag using the Dogs set. Who doesn’t love a dachshund?

This month I had the privilege of using some Penny Black products and created a card for the PageMaps July card sketch.
In order to follow the sketch, but avoid an overly busy card, I created a lot of subtle textures using some Penny Black stencils. Both the pattern on the butterfly and the chevrons in the background were created by running the stencil through my Cuttlebug with a rubber embossing mat. The blue dots were created with a stencil and coloured embossing paste.

Today I have a colourful card showcasing some Penny Black products. I started by stamping the hexagon stamp from the Penny Black Textures stamp set repeatedly down a piece onto watercolour paper. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Next was the fun part – I went to town with a rainbow of Distress Ink colours, a paintbrush and some water.
I did some partial stamping to create the sentiment. The Happy is from the Sprinkles and Smiles stamp set and the Birthday is from the Good Day stamp set.
