Print Candee – Thinking of you

Today I am popping in with some cards I have made using Print Candee Products. Head on over to the store to check out all the fabulous digital products.

I love all the chevrons products that are available everywhere – and Print Candee have some of their own, so I had a play. I combined the Chevron Pattern Digital Scrapbooking Paper with some gorgeous Tree Silhouettes Clipart. I reduced the opacity of chevron strips to 50 percent so that it was more subtle.

To add a pop of colour to the first one, I used some punched hearts and covered them in Glossy Accents. The second one uses a Martha Stewart butterfly punch.

Supplies

Digital Images/Stamps: Chevron Pattern Digital Scrapbooking Paper (Fancy Dog Studios), Tree Silhouettes Clipart (Pink Pueblo), Owlicious (Happy Colors) Paper Pack (Print Candee), Hero Arts “Say it Again” sentiments

Ink: Canon colour printer

Card: White card, AnnaBelle Stamps pre-cut cards

Other Supplies: AnnaBelle Stamps 3mm pearls, Glossy Accents, Carl Craft small heart punch, Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch, foam dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to check out the other Creative Team projects as well. Their links are on my side bar.

This month the Creative Team are whipping up some projects with the the theme of ‘die cuts’. I am sure most of us have a die or two somewhere in our stash. I pulled out 3 dies and got to work with some awesome digital papers from the store and came up with this.

The background paper is from a paper pack called Chai Latte Damasks (Digital Potpourri) – so yummy! The flowers and leaves were die cut from the Owlicious – Happy colors (Print Candee) paper pack. They were actually scraps I had left over from this project – I printed on both sides of the card stock. I added some detail to the leaves with prismacolor pencils.

Supplies:

Digital Images/Stamps:Chai Latte Damasks (Digital Potpourri), Owlicious – Happy colors (Print Candee)
Ink: Canon colour printer, Distress Ink – Antique Linen, Versacolor – orange, camellia
Card: White card stock, Regal craft card – white square textured
Other Supplies: Die-Namics Layered Label Die, Die-Namics Rolled Roses, Sizzix Flowers, Branches and Leaves set, AnnaBelle Stamps pearls, Cuttlebug, foam dimensionals, Kaisercraft grosgrain ribbon, Prismacolor pencils, Glossy Accents (to adhere flowers, leaves and pearls).

Love Bird release at Print Candee

Hi everyone,

On the first day of every month Print Candee are now releasing a digital kit that coordinates! This month’s kit is called Love Bird Collection and is perfect for  Valentine’s Day cards and gifts. You can view the whole release here on the Print Candee Blog along with all the projects made by the Creative Team. It contains a paper pack, tonnes of clip art, frames, borders, journal spots, alphabets and more. The items in the new release can be purchased as a kit for $20 or each individual part (eg clipart, paper packs, alphabet sets etc) can be purchased for $4.50 each.

What I love about these kits is that everything co-ordinates, making life easier for me! I decided to make some Valentine’s Day treat bags. I spied Shari Carroll’s idea here and decided to make my own version using my own dimensions.

I am entering these into the current Die Cutting Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

I printed some of the Love Bird Collection Paper Pack onto white card stock to make the treat bag. I die cut the heart shape onto the front panel before putting it all together. I then added embellishments and banners from the Love Bird Collection Frames and Borders and the Journal Spots and Phrases sets and some twine and pearls. Too easy….and a LOT of fun!

Each bag has a different treat which I put into a little cellophane bag. The chocolate in the one above is actually in the shape of a love heart! FUN!

Supplies:

Digital Images/Stamps: Love Birds Collection Paper Pack (Print Candee), Love Birds Collection Clip art (Print Candee), Love Birds Collection Frames and Borders (Print Candee), Love Birds Collection Journal Spots and Phrases (Print Candee)
Ink: Canon colour printer
Card: White card stock
Other Supplies: AnnaBelle Stamps pearls, Die-Namics Hearts a Plenty die, Cuttlebug, AnnaBelle Stamps cotton twine – white, small clear cellophane bags, yummy treats (Mini Fruits, Musks, Love heart chocolate), foam dimensionals, Martha Stewart score board, Mini stapler, Glossy accents (to adhere twine).

As a special offer Print Candee will be offering a 35% discount off the kit (which would make them $13 for the whole kit). How awesome is that! But the offer will only last a week so head on over to the Print Candee store and check it out.

Until next time,

Marion

Welcome baby – Print Candee

Hi everyone,

This month at Print Candee the Creative Team are making some fun projects with the theme of ‘Anything Goes’. My biggest problem was deciding which products to choose! Have you been to the store yet? There are hundreds of awesome digital products to choose from.

My sister-in-law is about to have a baby so I though that I would create some baby cards – I have all bases covered, depending on what she has! Now that is organisation!

These projects were simple to create. I layered up the clothesline image over the top of the background paper in Illustrator (same thing can also be done in Photoshop or Microsoft Word) and printed them off onto some Leather grain card. I did change the opacity of the background digi paper so that it was a little more subdued. I printed the clothesline images out again so that I could create some dimension. To add extra detail to the clothing, I used my Prismacolor pencils to add some shading.

Supplies:

Digital Images/Stamps: Jane’s Doodles Noah Ark stamp (sentiment), Spring Fling Paper Pack (The Digi Butterfly), Baby Boy Clothesline Clipart (Pink Pueblo), Baby Girl Clothesline Clipart (Pink Pueblo)
Ink: Canon colour printer, VersaFine Ink – Onyx Black
Card: Leather grain white card stock, Regal Craft Card – white textured
Other Supplies: Kaisercraft pearls – snow, Carl craft punch – small heart, Googly eyes, Prismacolor pencils, Glossy Accents

Thanks for dropping by. Digital images are fun to play with – why not give them a go? Check out all the goodies that Print Candee has to offer.

Until next time,

Marion

Print Candee Blog Hop

Welcome to another Print Candee Blog Hop. You should have hopped over from Jackie’s blog. If you want to start the hop from the beginning, head on over to the Print Candee Blog. There are some great hidden prizes to be won just by leaving comments along the way…you never know you could be a lucky winner! The more comments you leave, the more chances you have of winning! There is also a prize for one lucky person by leaving a comment on the Print Candee Blog.  You have until 11:59pm EST, on Saturday, December 17th to comment for prizes.

Today the Creative Team are creating projects with the theme of “card styles”. Each creative team member has chosen a different card style, so we hope that you get inspired by what you see. The card style which I chose is “graphic”. After doing some research around blog land, I found  a lot of graphic cards had lots of white space, clean lines and often used blocks of colour or repetition of shapes.

I printed the 1 Inch Circles – Christmas Red/Green Collage Sheets with Alphabet (Heads Up Girls) onto white cardstock and then punched them out with a circle punch. I scored a grid pattern with my score board onto the background. The “Merry” tab is from the Scrapbooking Elements Clipart (Pink Pueblo) and I added the text myself. Some of the letters are raised up with foam squares but it is hard to see this in the photos.

Supplies:

Digital Images/Stamps: 1 Inch Circles – Christmas Red/Green Collage Sheets with Alphabet (Heads Up Girls), Scrapbooking Elements Clipart (Pink Pueblo)
Ink: Canon colour printer
Card: White card stock, Regal Craft Card – white textured, Bazzil – red
Other Supplies: Kaisercraft gems, Carl Craft 1 inch circle punch, AnnaBelle Stamps natural twine, Martha Stewart score board, foam squares

The next stop on the Blog Hop is the uber talented Therese. I can’t wait to see she has created. And don’t forget that Print Candee is always offering specials. Head to the store and check out this week’s special and the hundreds upon hundreds of digital products they have to offer!

Thanks for stopping by,
