Topical Tuesday Video (tt014)

Hi everyone,

Today I have a video to share with you that I have created for AnnaBelle Stamps. To view it you will have to head over to the Stamp, Embellish, Create site at AnnaBelle Stamps and click on the link.

I decided to create a card using the tapped embossed resist technique. Previously I used this technique to create these cards, so I decided to show you how I did this – just changing up the final product a bit (as I find it hard to make the same card twice!) Go here to view the video.

Supplies

Stamps: AnnaBelle Stamps “Fanciful Flowers” stamp set

Ink: Versafine – Onyx Black, Distress Inks – Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white card stock

Other Supplies: AnnaBelle Stamps clear embossing powder, heat tool, anti-static pillow, My Mind’s Eye Lost and Found paper pack, foam dimensionals, AnnaBelle Stamps 3mm and 4mm pearls, Tombow adhesive, blending tool, Spellbinders Labels 8 die, Cuttlebug, Martha Stewart Score Board, scoring stylus

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find the time to give this technique a try,

Marion

Say it with…Kraft, Lemon and White

Welcome to another challenge at AnnaBelle Stamps. Hope you are ready to be challenged this week – I certainly was! I love using bright happy colours on my cards – so having to tone them down for this challenge took some extra thought.

(Tag aco71)

Thankfully I had some cute little roses in my stash which made the job a lot easier! I clear embossed BBD#3 onto some kraft cardstock and the sentiment is from Fanciful Flowers. I even pulled out some patterned paper – a rarity for me.

Supplies

Stamps:  AnnaBelle Stamps BBD#3 AnnaBelle Stamps Fanciful Flowers stamp set (sentiment)

Ink: VersaFine Vintage Sepia, Versamark watermark ink

Card: AnnaBelle Stamps smooth white cardstock, Kraft cardstock, Hero Arts Folded cards – Daffodil, Bazzill – brown

Other Supplies: AnnaBelle Stamps clear Hi-gloss embossing powder, Anti- static pillow, heat tool, Cuttlebug, MFT Layered Labels die, foam dimensonals, AnnaBelle Stamps 16mm white satin ribbon, Roses – white and yellow (brand unknown), Tombow adhesive, My Mind’s Eye – Lost and Found  paper pad,

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the rest of the DT projects. Their links are on my sidebar.

Until next time,

Marion

Print Candee Blog Hop

Hey there crafty lovers,

Glad that you have joined me for this month’s blog hop at Print Candee. You should have arrived from Jocelyn’s blog. The Creative Team have been busy creating cards inspired by this photo.

I love all the summery colours. I was drawn to the middle bag on the left with all the rainbow stripes and the cool texture. It inspired this birthday card for a friend’s daughter who was having a rainbow themed birthday party! I think personalised cards are extra special.

I used the Rainbow Dots Paper Pack from The Digi Butterfly making sure I used the same colour sequence as the photo and the hexagon embossing folder gives the card great texture (like on the bag).

Supplies

Digital Images: Rainbow Dots Paper Pack (The Digi Butterfly)

Ink: Canon colour printer, Versacolor – Atlanta Blue, Tea Green, Orange, Camellia, Kaisercraft – Corn

Card: Regal Craft Cards – Textured white square pre-scored card, Bazzill card – beige

Other Supplies: MFT Butterflies die-namics, Cuttlebug, Sponge daubers, Craft Concepts – Hexagon Illusions embossing folder, AnnaBelle Stamps 4mm Icicles, Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue, craft wire – black, foam dimensionals, American Crafts Thickers, Martha Stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch

Head on over to the store and check out the HUGE range of digital products available.

Thanks for stopping by,

Marion
