Hi everyone,

I really should be in bed…but just wanted to post this before I head there! This card looks simple (and it is) but I lost track of how many hours I fiddled with it to get it to this stage…ho hum!
I am using my new Hero Arts Classic Fabric Design stamp that I stamped with Broken China distress ink (my FAVOURITE distress ink colour). I spritzed with Perfect Pearls before stamping, so in real life it has a shimmer to it which is lovely. I am entering this into Lucy’s Lovely Lines sketch challenge over at Lily Pad Cards which is sponsored by Lawn Fawn.

Stamps: Hero Arts Classic Fabric Design (CG245)
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink – Broken China
Card: Regal Craft Card (white square single fold), White card
Other Supplies: Perfect Pearls, Mini mister, foam dimensionals, Kaisercraft Flowers, Kaisercraft Pearls – snow, Making Memories metal word fetti – ‘hello’ tag, White ribbon, Kaisercraft teal grosgrain ribbon, white button, Smiggles mini stapler, Zots Adhesive dots

Thanks for looking,

  1. Love this! Beautiful how you’ve done pearls in the center of the button and I love that little tag of ribbon stapled on the side 🙂 Perfect for the challenge!

  2. There’s that metal tag again… Love it!! And I adore your new ‘fabric’ stamp, it’s looks like that really lush wallpaper that no-one can afford. Another beautiful card Marion!!

  3. Ohhh – how beautiful! Love the background stamping – looks like damask wallpaper – and love how you added the pearls in the button centre. Love that tag too 🙂

  4. This is so fresh and gorgeous, Marion! Love that beautiful background stamp and the big flower you added to the sketch. And the tiny pearls in the center of the button are darling!

  5. how GORGEOUS are these colours!! I love the double layered flower with the pearled centre!
