Congratulations flower

Hi ya!

Did you miss me? Well I have been around looking at blogs but haven’t had a chance to create anything until today! Between writing school reports, assessments, teaching, having the vomiting bug pass through our family, playgroups etc – I have finally stopped today and taken a breather!

Anyway onto today’s card. I wanted to join in the fun over at the Hero Arts Challenge Blog and have created a congratulations card…it is very generic….it could be used for many different congratulatory occasions!

I white embossed the flower onto white paper and then coloured by blending distress inks using sponge daubers.

A close up showing the dimension.

Supplies:

Stamps: Hero Arts Stencil Flower cling stamp (CG194), Hero Arts Blossoms cling set(CG148), Hero Arts Classic Messages (CL414)
Ink: Versamark watermark ink, Versafine Ink – Onyx Black, Tim Holtz Distress inks – Fired Brick, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage
Card: Regal Craft Card (white square textured single fold), X-Press-It Blending Card
Other Supplies: Foam dimensionals, sponge daubers, black felt pen

Thanks for stopping by,

Marion

  2. Wow – this is beautiful! Love the dimension and love the white embossing. The colouring on the flower is really gorgeous too.

Sorry to hear you and your family have had the vomiting bug – it’s so contagious isn’t it?! But us Mums just have to keep going even if everyone around us is really crook. Hope you will all be 100% soon.

    {{hugs}} Jocelyn
