With Love

Hi there,

Popping in really quickly to post my entry to the current Scrapbook Boutique Blog Challenge that ends tonight. The inspiration photo was this YUMMY cupcake with the colour challenge being white, lavender and purple.

This card is in a similar style to other cards I have made recently…but once I get on a roll I certainly milk it for all it’s worth!!

I stamped the flower in Versafine black ink and then clear embossed over the top. I then swiped my inks onto an acrylic block, spritzed with water and then painted the flowers with a paintbrush. The embossed flowers meant that it was easy to stay in the lines! (And I have just realised that it looks like the background paper say LOL, but really it says love! He he!) I scored the lines on the panel behind on my score board.

Supplies:

Stamps: Hero Arts Tall flower woodblock stamp (K5431)
Ink: Versafine Ink – Onyx Black, Tim Holtz distress inks – Dusty Corduroy, Peeled Paint, Versacolor – Hyacinth, Heliotrope
Card: Regal Craft Card (Square textured single fold card), X-Press-It blending card
Other Supplies: Kaisercraft ‘With Love’ rub on, Martha Stewart Score board, American Crafts clear embossing powder, heat gun, Kaisercraft pearls – snow, paintbrush, Spellbinders Labels 2 die, Cuttlebug, foam dimensionals, white ribbon, Tim Holtz blending tool, Finger sponge dauber, Copic markers – purple x 2

Thanks for stopping by,

Marion
