January 2014 Papertrey Blog Hop

I’m popping in just before the deadline for this month’s Papertrey Ink Blog Hop – Pretty in Pink.

PTI Pink

I layered strips of patterned paper onto some white card stock and then to create a softer look, I sewed a piece of vellum over the top. The sentiment is white heat embossed on top of the vellum.

Merci

  2. the vellum sewed on top is a perfect touch – such a lovely card!

  3. Very pretty card; I like the vellum layer with the embossing. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. I love the look of the vellum over your multi-patterned background. Your flower is just the right focal image. Very pretty.

  5. So pretty, Marion!

  6. Very pretty! I like the look of vellum over the different patterned papers.

  7. The first thing I noticed in the inspiration was that fab pillow, love how you have mimicked those great layers! My idea (even though definitely no ‘spare’ time to create at the moment) was to layer different glittered pink papers….
